What it does

Encrypt files in your browser and upload them to your own google drive. Nobody, not even Google can access your data.

ZeroDrive adds browser-based encryption on top of Google Drive. Protect files before upload, share encrypted copies, and keep recovery access under your control.

Sharing works the same way: your browser encrypts the shared copy before upload, then locks it with the recipient’s public sharing key . The server can help route the encrypted share, but the share record does not store a sender user ID, sender email, or plaintext recipient email. The recipient’s browser uses their private key to unlock the file. Your 12-word recovery phrase is what recreates the private keys this browser needs to open your encrypted files and restore encrypted key backups on another device. It is never sent to the ZeroDrive server and cannot be reset.
