Hey HN! Pilots everywhere are required to keep a logbook of all their flying hours, aircraft, airports, and so on. Since I track everything digitally (some people still just use paper logbooks!), I put together some data visualizations and a few 3D globes to show my flying history. Sup HN, So I got tired of bouncing between Flightradar, MarineTraffic, and Twitter every time something kicked off globally, so I wrote a dashboard to aggregate it all locally. It’s called Shadowbroker. I’ll admit I leaned way too hard into the "movie hacker" aesthetic for the UI, but the actual pipeline underneath is real. It pulls commercial/military ADS-B, the AIS WebSocket stream (about 25,000+ ships), N2YO satellite telemetry, and GDELT conflict data into a single MapLibre instance. I believe that while other spaces have caught up to the AI wave, the observability space is still lagging behind, using the same tools and dashboards that we use to analyse logs from human-written code. But now the code is written and debugged by AI, so we need to rethink how we do observability where the observer itself is an AI. I started using Claude Code (claude --dangerously-skip-permissions) and Codex (codex --yolo) and realized I had no reliable way to know what they actually did. The agent's own output tells you a story, but it's the agent's story. logira records exec, file, and network events at the OS level via eBPF, scoped per run. Events are saved locally in JSONL and SQLite. It ships with default detection rules for credential access, persistence changes, suspicious exec patterns, and more. Hi HN! I run a few Claude Code sessions in parallel and kept cmd-tabbing around just to find out one of them had been sitting on a permission prompt for ten minutes.
