Hi guys, I've worked on several apps in the past couple of years, and found that it takes too much effort going from having an idea to building an app and having the world use it. I wanted a way to have an idea, turn it into a fully functional native app, and share it with the world, all in the next 5 minutes, as quick and as easy as writing a blog post. That's why I built Jason. Basically Jason lets you build a native interface to display and interact with any data format (csv, rss, html, json), any website, any API in any way you want, simply by writing a JSON markup and loading it.…

Our team set out to deliver on pushing the impact of real-time web through maximizing backend resources provided by multi-core server systems. By allowing your Node.js server to run on multiple threads and ensuring data consistency…

Thesys just open-sourced their generative UI rendering engine. Interesting timing given where Google a2ui and Vercel's json-render are headed. The difference worth noting: a2ui and json-render both treat JSONL as the contract between the LLM and the renderer. Thesys is betting that's the wrong primitive. Their engine uses a code-like syntax (OpenUI Lang) instead — LLM writes it, renderer executes it. The argument is that LLMs are fundamentally better at generating code than generating structured data, so you get cleaner output and ~67% fewer tokens. The broader vision seems to be a…

Hi! I wanted to understand more about databases' internals so I wrote one from scratch. It has a T-SQL inspired syntax with support for functions and procedures. It can be used stand-alone as a SQL engine or with a server allowing for persistence and replication to other connected clients. Performance are nothing near sqlite of course but that's beside the point. It’s a small database engine that can run in a web app as a way to store session data, do small calculations on a web worker, store the document/data the user is editing or facilitate “multiplayer” feature by broadcasting the…

Please check out out project, Lite Engine[1], a Backend as a Service web application platform. We provide everything you need to rapidly prototype and deploy your single page applications: static file hosting for your html, css, javascript and other assets, a subdomain on our site, security with https, and a 'create your own API' with SQL over CORS and JSON. I think of this as "geocities with a CORS backend". For your backend we've developed a system we call API Queries. You'll define SQL queries, save them on the backend, then execute them with http post requests that return JSON responses.…

We wrote a simple script with just GPT4-o APIs to try to run a game and let it render the game actions, and it works surprisingly well.
