I’ve been experimenting with building a Node.js HTTP framework using Rust + Hyper with N-Api. The project started as a fully synchronous server, but I recently patched it to support async (Tokio/Hyper). That change alone nearly doubled throughput in benchmarks. What’s different: * Built directly on Hyper, no heavy abstraction * napi glue for Node.js bindings * Minimal core (sync and async engines side-by-side) * Focused on raw performance, not plugins (yet) This is still experimental and not production-ready. I’d like feedback on: * Async API design — does it feel ergonomic? *…

This is a demo of a family of libraries intended to make it easy to build local-first, real-time applications for mobile, desktop and the web using CRDTs. It currently has support for using Sqlite, PostgreSQL or a plain old record store (Hive) as data storage backend. https://github.com/cachapa/crdt There's also a websocket sync layer that transparently handles the connection and delta changesets between participants. https://github.com/cachapa/crdt_sync

Hi hackers! I'm a self-taught solo teenage dev ever wanted to show what you're doing right now on the internet? well I've been wanting to for a while, so I built Lynk, a lightweight macOS app that tracks your active apps, window titles, and daily usage in real time, and broadcasts that data over WebSockets. Oh and it also updates whenever you switch apps to connected clients! No SDKs, no APIs — just local tracking + a websocket endpoint you can ping from any language.
