Products that do what Elbi – good on the go does
Our London-based non-profit startup has recently launched our first product, we'd love any feedback and comments. It's a platform for encouraging small acts of charity and philanthropy from its users, you can find out more on our website: https://www.elbi.com/about.html It's early days yet, our app is currently only on iOS and its feature-set is pretty minimal but we've got big plans and lots of ideas for the future! We're just starting to iterate on those and the feedback we're getting from the charities that we've onboarded so far as well as our users.

I'm currently participating in Philadelphia Startup Weekend. I successfully pitched my idea for a not for profit and we're currently hacking away on making it a reality. We are one2many.org, we foster a culture that celebrates giving & helping and that inspires people to be generous & compassionate to one another. People donate used goods to us - items like old iPhones, iPods, routers, trumpets, bunk beds, etc. - and we then give these items away to people for free, in exchange for their volunteer service participation at local organizations (Habitat for Humanity, local soup…

I actually started it June 2011 to learn iOS, launched it in September, and have been steadily adding features and making improvements. It's something I use every day and I hope other people find it useful. Enjoy!

I've been working on an app in my spare time for about the past 6 months in between my day job and taking care of my 10 month old daughter. I'm launching a beta today and would love to get the communities feedback. It's called Pagify and it's an app that allows you to build custom Facebook tabs using their new iframe method. I'm quite proud of the fact that I actually got this out the door. This past year my life has been quite hectic. Let me know your thoughts and give me a "Like" if so inclined :). Thanks View the app at http://pagifyapp.com Skip the Marketing stuff and go straight to the…

Friends, Romans, HNers! Link: http://hackerbyte.com This is my first “weekend project” and it was really fun doing it. The sleepless weekends nights when all my friends were our partying or something we (me and two friends) were busy creating ‘hackerByte’ - a weekly newsletter to share inspiration with start-up people. Nothing fancy - just we’d like to share some really nice stuff we read and some news with you, every week. We know that newsletters like these already exist so why one more? Because we are not really satisfied with what they are doing and here is our version of the wheel. We…

I am announcing the private beta of my first web app (http://getfounder.com). The beta will launch in just one city, which will be determined by the number of entries on the location-aware sign up page. As this is my first public release, I'm looking to the HN community to offer me feedback on what I should/shouldn't be displaying on the homepage. I'd be grateful for any advice you had to offer. Thanks, and I hope to see some of you in the private beta! Colin

Greetings ! https://www.kwixer.com We’re two freshly graduated students and we’ve developed our first smartphone app called Kwixer with 0 funds! Kwixer enables you to share and review what you do like what movies you’ve watched, what songs you’ve listened to, what books you’ve read, what video games you’ve played and which restaurants you went to. Kwixer is unique because of its social recommendation engine, let’s say you’ve watched “Skyfall” and loved it; Kwixer will not only recommend you other James Bond movies or other action movies your friends loved but will also recommend theme songs…

My first iPad app BizTome is free for the day. I'd love for the HN crowd to check it out and if you like it to please review it. Inspiring business quotes help motivate me as an entreprenuer, and I've been collecting them as a Google Doc up until I decided to make an app out of it. http://bit.ly/caqoMT

I was unhappy with the Crunchbase UI so I wrote a web app with a clean and minimal UI. I thought you guys would enjoy it. It's alphaish, but usable.

I know everyone is a bit burned out on blockchain and cryptocurrency related stuff around these parts, but I've been working on as a side project for the last few months and thought you guys might be interested: https://cryptoempire.io/ It's still a bit buggy and incomplete (the mobile ux needs a lot of work, the leaderboard isn't functional yet, etc.), but I've reached a point where I'm not totally ashamed of sharing it :) Any feedback would be most welcome!

Hi Everyone, I created a mobile app called Accumoo, and I would appreciate it if y'all can have a look, download and give me a favorable review. Lots of blood, sweat, tears and love went into this app, and I hope you LOVE it as much as I do - it's the app I always needed and wanted. Anyhow, I've been a Rails developer and Software Engineer for a long time, and this is my first stab at a mobile app. It's a "habit tracker" app on steroids that's just fun to use - syncs across devices, local-first architecture - and an easter egg game for good measure. Help a disabled vet out and give it a go.…

Over the last year, me and my co-founder have been working on a startup that provides a marketplace for what we call "self-guided tour itineraries". The best way to understand it is to have a look, here is an example: http://www.unanchor.com/itinerary/view/149 We just did our public launch today - it would be great to get your feedback on it. Be blunt, we can handle it :)

If you guys are interested in high-quality food products please let me know what you think of my website prototype. 1)Do you understand immediately what the site is about? 2)Is it easy enough to understand how it works? 3)If ready to roll in your neighborhood would you be interested in subscribing to a service like this? I am in the process of getting a closed-beta off the ground in Brooklyn and I am really interested in all kinds of feedback about the idea, the design, UX. Thanks. http://www.the-local-kitchen.com

orignally shared this on startup school... i thought id' share it here. i'm using a `nocode communication tool` (a web-based interface... a single browser tab!) for all of these things: 1. landing page — the landing page is the product and i wanted for folks to feel "transported" right into the app without having to walk through a shitty b2b marketing-style content. this is akin to my experience back in the `BBS` days of the mid-90's where you were immediately into the app, community, and tool. no terms of service, no privacy policy. just pure, immediate value. 2. building community — we…

Hello, here's my first app on the App Store, a week end project I've made with a friend. I had the idea - questionable - and did the UI. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/instatus/id622077531?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D2 (there's also the free version) The concept it's pretty simple, share your thoughts on Instagram, only words on white background so it will seems that your words will float into your friends feed - I suggest to not use any filter! - got already some ideas for future upgrades. I'm giving away 3 code to get the full version, if you want one, just ask! Best, Filippo p.s. This message…
