I've been working on an app in my spare time for about the past 6 months in between my day job and taking care of my 10 month old daughter. I'm launching a beta today and would love to get the communities feedback. It's called Pagify and it's an app that allows you to build custom Facebook tabs using their new iframe method. I'm quite proud of the fact that I actually got this out the door. This past year my life has been quite hectic. Let me know your thoughts and give me a "Like" if so inclined :). Thanks View the app at http://pagifyapp.com Skip the Marketing stuff and go straight to the…

Inspired by the following post by photon_off... http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1683309 I made karmurl last night. It's a simple app where you submit a URL for feedback, then for every piece of feedback you give to someone else's, you get to read one piece of feedback for yours. http://karmurl.com

Well HN, I've finally produced something I think is worthy of sharing, but I didn't do it "in a weekend". Yeah, it's an iOS puzzle game. And yeah, it's a game I built because I wanted to play it rather than based on market research, so all this sort of makes it the antithesis of a popular HN post. But whatever. Still hoping for some of that patented (har har) expert HN feedback. Critique any part of it except the music. Also, PM me for upgrade codes, or I can post some here if there's any interest. Download (it's free):…

This was my last weekend project, but due to school, wasn't able to finish it till today. Disregard the design and tell me as much of the following as possible: Would you ever use this to search for more current app reviews, or is completely unnecessary? If you like the idea, how would you suggest I improve it? Any and all feedback is welcome. http://www.labs.alexgreene.me/

Hi, Sometimes I want to wrap an existing website into an Android app quickly so I made a service that does just that https://html2apk.com/ If you find it useful I'll be happy to hear about that, if you have any other comments/suggestions I'll be happy to hear about that too. 10x, Gilad

As a product manager I've used different feedback tools and almost never liked the design and experience of the widget. And pricing of some existing tools is just way too high, at least for indie makers or small businesses ($35 for 100 responses...). That's why I've launched Freddy Feedback (today!). You can find it on www.freddyfeedback.com. Curious to hear your feedback (very meta ;-)).

Howdy friends! Tell me if this is an atrociously terrible idea - I've been working on building a leetcode for clientside devs so we can practice React and Javascript interview questions in a more concise way, I call it clientside.dev I just finished a beta version of it yesterday and plan on releasing it with many more problems on Jan 1st but it's there if you wanna play with it open to any ideas / feedback however mean or nice it may be :)

Hi HN, I built Reviewskits because of a recurring frustration I faced while working for a web agency in Switzerland. Our designers created beautiful, pixel-perfect layouts, but when it came to testimonials, we were stuck with rigid, pre-made widgets from tools like Senja or Trustpilot. Hacking them with CSS to match our UI was a nightmare. When we looked at their API pricing to build our own components for 100+ clients, the cost was astronomical ($90 to $300+/mo). Later, as an indie dev building my own SaaS, I simply couldn’t afford those prices. So I built Reviewskits: High…

Had this idea recently and just had to get it out of my head and into a (super quick and dirty) prototype. It's like Letterboxd but for anything, and with a simpler rating system you don't have to sweat about.

Hi! Long time reader, first time submitter. I've finallllyy got my first webapp online. It's been a long time coming, I started it over a year ago and just been an hour here, a couple of hours here, and a period of a couple of months of nothing. I first wrote it as a way to learn some python it sort of grew to fill a need I had. It's at a point now where I'd LOVE some feedback as I am going round in circules. Please, it's free, just hit the home page, plugin in a name/email and url you want to links checked on. If you use the name 'DeleteMe' I will remove the account after a week, so feel…

I’ve spent the last 2.5 months building a product that runs LLM-powered code reviews on my pull requests — and I just launched it. The tool is built specifically for solo developers. You install it on your repo, trigger a scan by creating a pull request, and it leaves structured review comments using OpenAI under the hood. Funnily enough, I used the dev version of this app to review its own pull requests while building it. It helped me spot bugs, simplify structure, and keep quality high — all with minimal need for another human in the loop. Things I want to try out in the next months : -…

Hi HN, After I finished my thesis on feedback management for SaaS at the end of last year, I thought it was time to do something hands-on that topic. Since I like the idea of such feedback tools, that lets you collaborate with users to find solutions together - instead of having a separated feedback from each user - this became my starting point. I also like the approach of the chat widgets as they make it easy for users to get in touch with the people behind the app. So I tried to combine these two approaches with sleekplan.com. Here are some of the main features: * Collect & discuss…

Hi HN I built a fun little tool: It uses Groq’s LLaMA 3.3 + Puppeteer to analyze a website Then it roasts the design/content/UX with humor And finishes with 3–5 genuinely helpful improvement tips You can try it here: https://ai-roast-vert.vercel.app I wanted to: Practice fast idea-to-launch cycle (built in 2 days) Experiment with a viral-friendly product Monetize with a $0.55 pro version that gives a detailed roast + download Would love your feedback — on the idea, the tone, the usefulness — anything! Thanks in advance

Hi there, So a buddy a couple of days ago came up with the idea for a new SaaS product regarding gpt and image generation. We did a quick MVP that barely works, it breaks almost 50% of the time but we still wanted to validate the idea before going all in. We have almost 1k followers on Twitter together. Did a quick post describing the idea with a stripe link in the comments with a 5$ value, no landing page, and no shipped product. In exchange, the buyers become beta users. Around 30 mins later we got our first sale next 30 mins another 5$ and so on. Do we consider the idea validated? The…

Hey there HN ! I'm so excited to show you the platform I built! It's a product review website that's all about community and video reviews. I wanted to create a space where people could share their personal experiences and opinions on products, so others could make informed decisions based on real-life experiences. I noticed that there were a lot of fake reviews on other platforms, and I knew that people wanted a more reliable and trustworthy source for product reviews. That's why I decided to create a website that would prioritize genuine, honest curated reviews from real people. Our…
