Howdy all. I'm Zack . I've been thinking about the problem of misguided AI pull requests and figured I'd throw a possible solution out there for feedback. Basically, CleverCrow lets supporters give tokens to a GitHub repo (or set of issues in that repo) for the maintainers to use to build/fix stuff. The fun implementation challenges have been around implementing the pooling dynamics and keeping the maintainers in charge while the backers are motivated to support their work.

Hey HN, We’re two developers (co-founders) with a team of 20 who got tired of spending hours reviewing PRs, so we built Infinitcode.ai, an AI-powered code reviewer that: - *Summarizes PRs in plain English*: No more deciphering 1,000-line diff jungles - *Catches more than bugs*: Security holes, performance pitfalls, code smells, even typos (yes, we’ll flag “vurnerabilities” and vulnerabilities) - *Zero onboarding*: Works instantly—no “let me learn your codebase for weeks” nonsense. Why we’re posting: We’re in alpha and need brutal honesty. Roast our tool, mock our UI, or tell us why AI will…

hi all. i’ve been shipping a small open project that tries to answer that question with evidence, not vibes. in 70 days it reached \~800 stars. the core claim is simple: many AI failures are not noise. they repeat because the geometry and ordering underneath are stable. if so, we should be able to name each failure mode, set acceptance targets, and stop shipping the same bug twice. ### what it is * a compact Problem Map of 16 reproducible failure modes in RAG and agents. * each item has a minimal fix and measurable gates. examples: * Semantic ≠ Embedding: metric and normalization mismatch.…

I created a bot which analyses Euro 2024 betting odds and performs some basic analysis based on the recent form of each team and provides advice on which odds are under/over-priced by email to all subscribers. The intelligence of the bot is admittedly rather basic but this simple app shows how easy it is to reliably scrape and parse structured data with AI and perform insightful analysis. The initial version of the bot, shown in the notebook took about 15 minutes to build. Disclosure: this bot is built on our new graph based #nocode platform NodeScript.dev, which we've recently brought…

I haven't seen anything like this so I decided to build it in a weekend. How it works: You see a bunch of things pulled from Wikipedia displayed on cards. You ask yes or no questions to figure out which card is the secret article. The AI model has access to the image and wiki text and it's own knowledge to answer your question. Happy to have my credits burned for the day but I'll probably have to make this paid at some point so enjoy. I found it's not easy to get cheap+fast+good responses but the tech is getting there. Most of the prompts are running through Groq infra or hitting a cache…
