After seeing the ReadWriteWeb article on findhisporn.com (http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/find_his_porn_evil_website_of_the_week.php), my instant reaction was to build something to counter that. I spent the weekend building the app, but had to wait another week to get my payment system set up. The site is http://www.hideyourporn.net/ (completely safe for work site) as well as a more generic http://www.personallocker.net/ which is what the app is branded at. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated - just keep in mind - HN is obviously not my target audience.

Over the last decade I've built a number of different digital asset managers (mostly media files) that met the needs of my companies at the time. It is an area I enjoy working in. I made a simple site that allows you to upload files. It requires no sign up and 100% free. The biggest advantage is that it returns you the direct URL to your file. So you can use it to store images for MD-based forum posts. Or put in your site's . I use the Cloudflare R2 storage which offers zero egress fees. So I pay $0 of transfer costs. I am sorry to submit this again, but I feel it didn't get its share yesterday on HN. So I am giving it one last try. stk8.co allows you to stack several Links or Text and share them under one shortened url. It's an app for bookmarking webpages you want to remember. Just use bookmarklet to take screenshots whenever you want to bookmark a site. I made this because I'm sick of text based bookmarking websites like Delicious and Pinboard. I'll always bookmark a site and try and find it later, but because it's all text/tag based I'll have forgotten what the site is about, but I'll remember what it looks like. There's a laundry list of things I'm going to add to the site, so know it's really minimal right now. Would appreciate any feedback you have :)

A little while ago I built an automated website that finds free stuff while filtering out scams. It works in an interesting way. Most freebie sites on the web contain a mix of real, useful free stuff and scammy affiliate and pyramid schemes. I realized that affiliate links are always unique (because they need to contain an affiliate code) while real freebies have URLs that co-occur across multiple sites at roughly the same time.
