hi all, I've always wanted to make my own game, but couldn't afford a thousand-dollar adobe (flash+photoshop) license. I'm not a talented programmer, have no degree in CS. But I understand some elements of design. So I got me a copy of ImpactJS, and after about 5 months of steep learning curve (at least for me), I managed to come up with a game. I also integrated it with a highscore and badge system, similar to what you get at Kongregate. Hello everyone, For the past several months, I have been building multiple React/TailwindCSS components for my projects. I have decided to bundle and document them so that I can share them with the community. The entire UI kit is written in Typescript on top of the class-variance-authority library. Although I am already using these components in production, the project is still in beta since it lacks a full test suite and dark mode. I wanted to have a framework that would let me build web apps faster than ever before. Inspired by https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=38037180, this is done sort of as a learning journey since I've never built an app from scratch using Next.js and tailwindcss before. I wanted the raw, old skool terminal days of the early internet - BBS, and old green phosphor library comptuers - but running the modern web, with all the bells and jingle jangle whistles (JavaScript, etc). No funding, no VC, just 100% raw terminal fun. Not sure how long the demo will last, but try it out.

This is a small TailwindCSS alternative based on a css template literal. I was inspired by styled-components and EmotionCSS, which however do not work well with ViteJS and specifically Preact. This provides a better experience than Tailwind, as you can use all CSS language features without learning new conventions while maintaining a per-component styling approach. This also turns out to be more inspectable in the browser's dev-tools, as snippets are extracted as-is and are not fragmented across thousands of small classes.
