24 alternatives to Bhvr, a Bun and Hono and Vite and React Starter

Hey all! I've been using this stack personally for a while now and decided to automate it a bit by turning it into a template I can reuse. Hope others might find it helpful!

Bhvr is a starter template that combines Bun, Hono, Vite, and React for building web applications. It provides a pre-configured setup of these tools so developers can quickly begin projects without manually integrating… Below are 24 products that do a similar job, ranked by how close each is in meaning and then by launch-day votes.

I originally built this app to organize and reuse interesting React + Tailwind components I came across on Twitter, inspired by the shadcn/ui approach. Later, a friend started contributing their own components, and it got me thinking—this could grow into something bigger, like an NPM for design engineers to share and use components. Would love to hear your thoughts!

I made this because building UIs in a lexical medium like code is super annoying. I have to pre-render what I’m making in my head, and then jump between the browser and IDE to test. I was inspired by the developer console in chrome and safari since I end up editing css there because it’s ironically more convenient. Hope it’s useful!

We just launched Croct Templates, a way to drop CMS-powered components into your app with a single command. It's like Shadcn, but for CMS, AB testing and personalization: * Built-in support for A/B testing, content editing, and dynamic logic * Works with existing projects (Next.js, React, etc.) * Supports community libraries via `npm://`, `shadcn-ui://`, etc. Example: ```bash npx croct@latest use shadcn-ui://block/pricing-page ``` Happy to answer any questions!

Hey HN, I'm Nate, the creator of Tamagui. One is a React framework that does two things differently in hopes of simplifying how we build websites and apps: 1. It unifies React Native and React web with typed file system routing by making Vite able to serve RN. This lets you share (or diverge) your code in a simpler way for cross-platform apps. 2. We've partnered with Zero (https://zerosync.dev) to make local-first work well. We've been building a solution in One that makes Zero supporting server rendering, without waterfalls, and with seamless server/client handoff. ---…

Hello everyone, I’ve created this starter project for creating production ready web apps in Vite and React that I hope some might find useful. This template came about as a necessity to provide some standardization across new projects at work. A few of the initial goals when creating this project were to: - Reduce setup time - Standardize codebase with ESLint and Prettier - Improve commit messages with tools like husky, commitizen and commitlint - Improve codebase maintainability and scalability by providing a reasonable folder structure - Simplify React Component development through use of…

Hi! I made a React compatibility library for a Virtual DOM library (https://github.com/aidenybai/million). The idea is to have much faster rendering (a compiler optimizes virtual DOM beforehand) while ensuring the same developer experience React provides. This is very, VERY early stage, so be prepared for weird bugs / plugin incompatibility / etc. If you have any suggestions, I'd be more than happy if you replied in a comment with it! You can spin up the demo here >> https://stackblitz.com/github/aidenybai/million-react-compat

In the last few years I've been doing a lot of technical writing, both for my own programming blog and others, and I've noticed there is a lack of good tools for this kind of writing. Whether that was a programming blog post or documentation, I always had to move back an forth between different editors, and sometimes even other apps for content management and the actual content publication. A lot of copy-pasting, and wasted time. Based on this experience I decided to try and build a tool that could provide a good experience for this kind of content from writing to publishing. This (I call it…

Hey HN, I'm a developer and long-time OSS contributor. Over the years, I've implemented tons of headless CMSs to give product and marketing teams more autonomy. But there's always been a gap with CMSs when it comes to user interfaces. I kept running into the same issues: poor developer experience, bad performance, no support for dynamic content, and needing vendors for AB testing or personalization, which just gets messy and expensive. Versioning? One change and things break or need manual fixes. Accessing your own data? Good luck unless you're ready to pay extra. So, I built a content API…

I didn't know some of them when I started. BDC is a simple library for updating the DOM to match a javascript description. Does not require JSX or a compilation step. clobber( document.body, h("marquee", [ h("span", {"style": "font-weight: bold"}, "Hello"), ", ", h("blink", "world"), "!", ]), ); Very fast to first render, moderately slow on subsequent updates. Prompted by the post on millionjs, which compiles user code to hit the same outrageously small size target.

Hi all! Here is my open-source side-project. It is a browser extension that lets you click on a component on your localhost to get to its code in your editor. It works with React, Svelte, SolidJS, Preact, and Vue components and with VSCode, Webstorm, or any other editor that supports URL protocol links. It can be used also as JavaScript library (instead of installing browser extension) It speeds up my web development so much that I can't work without that anymore :D Let me know if you like it or if you would like to improve it somehow.
