24 alternatives to Dynamic headless CMS with built-in CDP, AB testing and personalization
Hey HN, I'm a developer and long-time OSS contributor. Over the years, I've implemented tons of headless CMSs to give product and marketing teams more autonomy. But there's always been a gap with CMSs when it comes to user interfaces. I kept running into the same issues: poor developer experience, bad performance, no support for dynamic content, and needing vendors for AB testing or personalization, which just gets messy and expensive. Versioning? One change and things break or need manual fixes. Accessing your own data? Good luck unless you're ready to pay extra. So, I built a content API…
This is a headless CMS designed for developers building with React and Next.js. It provides content management with built-in A/B testing, personalization, and analytics without requiring separate vendor integrations.… Below are 24 products that do a similar job, ranked by how close each is in meaning and then by launch-day votes. Dynamic headless CMS with built-in CDP, AB testing and personalization launched in 2024; newer entries below may have overtaken it.

Croct▲387We just launched Croct Templates, a way to drop CMS-powered components into your app with a single command. It's like Shadcn, but for CMS, AB testing and personalization: * Built-in support for A/B testing, content editing, and dynamic logic * Works with existing projects (Next.js, React, etc.) * Supports community libraries via `npm://`, `shadcn-ui://`, etc. Example: ```bash npx croct@latest use shadcn-ui://block/pricing-page ``` Happy to answer any questions!

Hey hackers, OP here! I've been dipping in and out of this problem space for the last few years with many of my clients. Puck sits somewhere between an old-school WYSIWYG-powered CMS and headless one, allowing content teams to author content using real React components. Traditional CMS solutions were flexible but often resulted in page that completely broke the brand guidelines. Headless CMS solutions are a fantastic way of controlling brand by restricting UI changes to developers, but makes layout changes restrictive and slow as developers often need to get involved. Puck provides a visual…

I made this because building UIs in a lexical medium like code is super annoying. I have to pre-render what I’m making in my head, and then jump between the browser and IDE to test. I was inspired by the developer console in chrome and safari since I end up editing css there because it’s ironically more convenient. Hope it’s useful!

Once UI 1.5▲299When I started my career and built my first design system, I was beyond excited. It took a lot of iterations, learning and 6 months of work to launch it internally. In the next job, I did it again, then at the following job, again… And no matter which company I worked for, 80% of the design system was the same. I’ve decided to work full-time on the design system I’ve always wanted, and today I’m launching and open-sourcing it. You can use it to build Next.js apps faster, and I’ve designed it in a way that it’s hard to go wrong with it: you can choose any settings, and you’ll end up with a…

In the last few years I've been doing a lot of technical writing, both for my own programming blog and others, and I've noticed there is a lack of good tools for this kind of writing. Whether that was a programming blog post or documentation, I always had to move back an forth between different editors, and sometimes even other apps for content management and the actual content publication. A lot of copy-pasting, and wasted time. Based on this experience I decided to try and build a tool that could provide a good experience for this kind of content from writing to publishing. This (I call it…

Author here. This is an attempt to simplify frontend development: 1. Standards first: User interfaces should be assembled with HTML, styled with CSS, and enhanced with JavaScript. 2. Less abstractions: UI composition should be easy and require as few idioms and abstractions as possible, both on client and server. 3. Design Systems: Design should be a separate subsystem, easily accessible for developers who care about and understand design. 4. Scalability: Complex UIs should retain simplicity as the application grows. Eager to hear your thoughts!

Hypertune▲260Hey HN! I'm Miraan, the founder at Hypertune, and I'm excited to be posting this on HN. Hypertune lets you make your code configurable to let teammates like PMs and marketers quickly change feature flags, in-app copy, pricing plans, etc. It's like a CMS but instead of only letting you set static content, you can insert arbitrary logic from the UI, including A/B tests and ML "loops". I previously built a landing page optimization tool that let marketers define variants of their headline, CTA, cover image, etc, then used a genetic algorithm to find the best combination of them. They used…
