Products that do what I built an app to manage animal adoption easily (Brazil-only) does

Hello HN, I’ve always been passionate about animal welfare, and after noticing the challenges faced by both adopters and shelters, I decided to create PetsRescue. It’s a web app that simplifies the animal adoption process, making it easier for people to find and adopt pets in need. The goal was to create a platform that’s user-friendly, secure, and accessible to everyone who wants to make a difference in the lives of animals. I’d love to hear your feedback on it. Cheers,

I have a rescue dog - a 6 year old German Shepherd mix. When we rescued him I couldn't believe how many animals there were at all the shelters and animal control centers, and how hard it was to find out about them. I built a simple site (https://rescueapet.benswork.space) which connects you with available dogs and cats in your area :-) It uses data from local shelters and pulls it all into one place, so you can make a shortlist of animals, then reach out to the shelter to adopt. I was honestly surprised that something like this didn't already exist. Let me know what you think!

Hi Everyone, I created a mobile app called Accumoo, and I would appreciate it if y'all can have a look, download and give me a favorable review. Lots of blood, sweat, tears and love went into this app, and I hope you LOVE it as much as I do - it's the app I always needed and wanted. Anyhow, I've been a Rails developer and Software Engineer for a long time, and this is my first stab at a mobile app. It's a "habit tracker" app on steroids that's just fun to use - syncs across devices, local-first architecture - and an easter egg game for good measure. Help a disabled vet out and give it a go.…

I've built Waulog (https://waulog.com), a web app to help dog owners track their pets' health and activities. It features: - Activity logging (walks, meals, etc.) - Health monitoring (weight, vomits, feeding schedule) - Family sharing for coordinated care - QR code profiles for lost dogs - 100% Free As a dog owner, I created this to solve my own pain points. I'd love feedback from the HN community, especially on: 1. Additional features you'd find useful 2. UX improvements 3. Privacy concerns and how to address them Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!

I've been working on an app in my spare time for about the past 6 months in between my day job and taking care of my 10 month old daughter. I'm launching a beta today and would love to get the communities feedback. It's called Pagify and it's an app that allows you to build custom Facebook tabs using their new iframe method. I'm quite proud of the fact that I actually got this out the door. This past year my life has been quite hectic. Let me know your thoughts and give me a "Like" if so inclined :). Hey, just wanted to share with you guys and app that I built and deployed in a day with Lovable. So, as a founder I always wanted to have an advisor but my budget would always be less, then on the other hand hand I had Paul's essays on Startup Advice, which I never read because I was busy building stuff. Hence, I built this product which comes into a sweet spot of both at the same time being more reasonable and capable than the alternative. ps: it's running on a reasoning model and tbh I've been able to gather pretty good insights from it. Note to PG: If you're seeing this. I'm your big fan.…

Hi! Long time reader, first time submitter. I've finallllyy got my first webapp online. It's been a long time coming, I started it over a year ago and just been an hour here, a couple of hours here, and a period of a couple of months of nothing. I first wrote it as a way to learn some python it sort of grew to fill a need I had. It's at a point now where I'd LOVE some feedback as I am going round in circules. Please, it's free, just hit the home page, plugin in a name/email and url you want to links checked on. If you use the name 'DeleteMe' I will remove the account after a week, so feel…

As a product manager I've used different feedback tools and almost never liked the design and experience of the widget. And pricing of some existing tools is just way too high, at least for indie makers or small businesses ($35 for 100 responses...). That's why I've launched Freddy Feedback (today!). You can find it on www.freddyfeedback.com. Curious to hear your feedback (very meta ;-)).

For years, I have struggled to understand my cash flow and save for the future. In addition to that, my wife has many credit cards and accounts that complicate matters. I am building a tool that connects all our accounts, helps us create a budget, and tracks and adjusts expenses on the fly. I am also sprinkling some AI magic on it for financial suggestions. I am looking for feedback on the implementation. More importantly, I am looking for more beta testers to improve the product.

Hi, I spent the last couple of months developing OurClubFundraiser(http://www.ourclubfundraiser.com) and launched it about two weeks ago.I would love to get some feedback from the HN community on how I could improve the site and tweak the concept. Since launching I have found that: 1) I am not getting enough visits(Average around 5 a day) 2) Any of the visits I do get are not converting. I am working on 1) and will hopefully be able to dramatically increase the number of visits over the next few weeks. I could really do with some third party perspectives on point 2. 1)Is the concept not…

Hi HN, After I finished my thesis on feedback management for SaaS at the end of last year, I thought it was time to do something hands-on that topic. Since I like the idea of such feedback tools, that lets you collaborate with users to find solutions together - instead of having a separated feedback from each user - this became my starting point. I also like the approach of the chat widgets as they make it easy for users to get in touch with the people behind the app. So I tried to combine these two approaches with sleekplan.com. Here are some of the main features: * Collect & discuss…

This is the first version of an app idea I had last month as a way to dip my toes into some of the AI APIs. The idea is you can record yourself answering and rehearsing what you'll say to common interview questions, and receive AI feedback on how you did and how you can improve. In the future I may expand into other subject areas, but wanted to scope it to the behavioral interview format for the time being. Super open to feedback and suggestions!

Hello HN, I built Motion, a fitness app where your virtual pet (we call it a Motmot) grows and gets stronger as you become more active. I wanted a fitness app that didn't feel like a fitness app. Most tools are either data-heavy dashboards or generic streak counters. Neither kept me moving. I thought a creature that visibly reflects your health might create a different kind of attachment. The pet is tied to a broader system: weekly challenges against friends, points for any type of movement, and personalized goals that recalibrate based on your actual activity history rather than fixed…

My other half runs a care home in the UK. She was frustrated with some of the remaining paper based processes, and the 'techy' alternatives were off-putting. So we built Care Home Domestic. The project is self funded and has been a fun and exciting journey! It is currently in use at a few homes and feedback so far is really good. There's loads of work still to do, but we've gone out early and aim to be reactive to the feedback of our users.

Hey HN! Halfway through moving to Canada and whilst my conversational French gets me by, I'm absolutely rubbish when someone rattles off phone numbers at full speed (quatre-vingt-dix-neuf anyone?). So I built a virtual pet that thrives on correctly answered number challenges. 20-second drills throughout the day: get them right and Lexie grows, get them wrong and it gets a bit sad (but never dies, this isn't the 90s). Speak, type, or tap your answers. Would love any feedback/bugreports. Or just rant about how the Belgians sensibly say "nonante-neuf" whilst we're stuck with…
