Products that do what I created a 2025 Wrapped for WhatsApp Conversations does
Hey HN! As I sat to write my 2025 reflection, I realized one thing I was missing was a ‘year wrapped’ for my relationships — I got my music, got my photos, got my fitness wraps — but what about my relationships? Specifically, I wanted to figure out what my text conversations say about my relationships and myself, and if there’s been evolution throughout the year. Who reaches out more? What’s our tone and conflict resolution? What were our month by month successes and conflicts? So I built an app that analyzes WhatsApp conversations (.txt files) and surfaces the patterns — using Anthropic’s…

Insights like who text's first, who text's more and many more can be generated in a fun story format. No data is stored and the code is open source. Would love to get feedback and feature requests.

Hello HN! I've been thinking about the idea of a LLM thats a clone of me - instead of generating replies to be a helpful assistant, it generates replies that are exactly like mine. The concept's appeared in fiction numerous times (the talking paintings in Harry Potter that mimic the person painted, the clones in The Prestige), and I think with LLMs, there might actually be a possibility of us doing something like this! I've just released a fork of the facebookresearch/llama-recipes which allows you to fine-tune a Llama model on your personal WhatsApp conversations. This adaptation can…

Hey HN, I am an indie hacker and I am launching my second product. Spotify Wrapped seems like a cool concept, so I imagined what Wrapped would look like for whatsapp. Privacy was a major concern for exporting plain text so I decided to not store ANY DATA by not having DB in the first place and open source the project. Hope you have fun making your Wraps xD anshulagx

I don't know how many of you remember SlackChats - a place to find Slack groups, which is now known as http://www.chitchats.co. I made this after being inspired by that site. A ton of people use Whatsapp and Telegram groups so you may find it useful to have a kind of Yellowpages for groups, to be able to find them online. The idea is to make it easy to find and connect with people that share your interests. Any and all feedback welcome. The link is: http://mobilechatgroups.com/

Hi HN! Excited to share early access to Amber. I’ve tried every all-in-one messenger out there (Beeper included) but they always fell short. No real folders, no AI, clunky UI, no CRM features… As a founder who speaks with hundreds of people every quarter, I needed something better. So I decided to rebuild the entire experience from ground up. Thoughts from one of our users: "The app I've been searching for for a looong time." Check it out for free today! I hope you are doing better today than yesterday. (TLDR in the comments; or enjoy my story :) ) Why: About 11 months ago, I launched my app for the first time on Reddit's r/lonely because I had previously experienced loneliness myself during grad school. I wanted to reach out to people going through similar experiences by providing them with what would’ve helped me in the past. I felt this was an important mission for me and a much more rewarding one than my day job that I quit my job to work on the app full-time. It was necessary because I did not come from a programming background. I…

It has been a while since I have shared my app, that I made to be able to practice my Danish while chatting with my grilfriend - I often used GPT to write as much as I can in Danish, and I replaced the words I didn't know with {Englis words in curly braces}. While this was great, it was rather annoying to type the prompt always, so I figured a GPT wrapper would work well here. Last time when I launched, it went viral! I was super happy (and grateful!) for all the feedback and excitement — but it also meant my tokens disappeared fast, and many people ended up trying an app that no longer…

Link to test: http://getmeetingsapp.com Basically it is a web-based chat application, with private and public rooms and real-time file sharing. It is currently in a half-arsed situation so needs lot of work but wanted to get some feedback from you. Thanks PS. I created a public room for feature requests, just in case: http://getmeetingsapp.com/rooms/4e7f64ea17ade37b71000002

Hey HN, My co-founders and I have been working on a project for the last month or so, and we'd like to get your input on it. We wanted to hear your thoughts on what we're doing - so check out our landing page, and let us know what you think/understand. Does it sounds like something you guys would want to use? http://www.thesharedweb.com/alpha/intro We'll tell you guys more about exactly what we're doing as the conversation evolves, but we just wanted to see what the initial reaction is, and what you understand (i.e. are we describing it in a way that makes sense). Really excited to hear your…

Hey HN, I made conversation starter game. Here's how it works: - Choose a theme like "Couples" or "Favorites" - Tap to reveal thought-provoking questions - Take turns answering and discover new things about each other I made ConvoCards because everyone has an interesting story to tell, but these don't often come up in day to day conversations. I also enjoy using them for journaling and self reflection. I hope you enjoy playing and learn something new about someone close to you!

Six months ago, I went full-time indie, but I haven't released anything so far. The products just never felt good enough for me to publicly say this is what I'm doing now. To get out of this mindset, I decided to make an app for myself in a week, add monetization, release it and move on. The app idea was simple: Reflect on your day by answering the same four questions out loud. The answers are transcribed and with regular use you can see what influences you the most and take action. All on-device, as otherwise I wouldn't feel comfortable sharing my thoughts. I had all core features working…

Hey there HN! Happy to share a piece of my labor I've been working on for the past 6 months. The idea for the app came to me when I found out that taking notes in Telegram saved messages and private channels is pretty convenient, but it became a mess real quick. Imagine accidentally sending your to-do list to your boss? And there were no work-related stuff, haha So I decided to solve this pain point of mine by creating a little app, just as a side project. But then I lost my job due to a layoff, so I decided to triple down on my idea, polish it, and make it a SaaS in the hope of making it…
