Products that do what I made an OpenAI-powered tamagotchi that reacts to what you read online does
You can create your own spirit animal based on any description you provide. It responds with an AI-generated summary of the page that you are on, using meta tags in the HTML of that page. I made this during a hack week at work (koodos.com). I wanted to build something fun that used AI (this specifically uses DALL-E and GPT-3) that kind of acted like a companion as you browse the web - similar to a Tamagotchi or Clippy (rip). I haven't seen anything like this so I decided to build it in a weekend. How it works: You see a bunch of things pulled from Wikipedia displayed on cards. You ask yes or no questions to figure out which card is the secret article. The AI model has access to the image and wiki text and it's own knowledge to answer your question. Hey, OpenAI recently released "assistants" - These have RAG built into the API, which means that you can provide up to 10.000 files to the assistant without the overhead of dealing with vector databases, splitting files into chunks and more. They work surprisingly well, so I've built a free simple tool to embed them on websites. It has no dependencies and simply uses fetch to communicate to my backend which proxies openai.
