Products that do what I rewrote an inventory app 4 times over 5 years before releasing v1 does
I’ve been building for 5 years. I rewrote it 4 times (Blazor Server -> Blazor WASM + Asp backend -> React + Node -> Ruby on Rails - Ruby and Rails are both awesome btw.) and kept telling myself I was “improving the architecture” when I was really avoiding release. A couple of years ago, I had an interesting idea. What if there was a marketplace where all the underlying tech was open-source? The order management system, the storefront, customer support, etc. The marketplace would simply connect to the seller’s infra instead of locking them in. After accidentally nuking the production database of my last side project, I wished I had used dev/prod environments with automated DB backups. When I looked for a SaaS template to start over with integrated dev/prod environments, I couldn’t find one. So I decided to build it myself. I built this because I was tired of creating pull requests in 20 repositories just to change a single line of workflow job version. With Infra as AI, just mention the change. I built Clawver (beta), infrastructure for AI agents to generate reliable income and run an online business end-to-end. Agents can handle listing, checkout, fulfillment, and post-purchase flows via API (digital + POD), with Stripe payouts and webhooks for automation. You own the data, the commerce logic is integrated into your project and run through your own APIs.
