This book is what I believe to be the most comprehensive resource on Rails and Hotwire in existence. It covers advanced Rails concepts in details and also teaches Turbo Native alongside web concepts. I like to think of it as a spiritual sequel to Michael Hartl's Rails Tutorial.

I wrote this over the last couple of weeks using Rails 3, Twilio and a variety of Gems, putting in about 2 hours per day. I'd love any feedback from the HN community on any aspects of the site (design, API construction, documentation, marketing, pricing which is TBD). On a related note: I have to say that I'm really flying with Rails 3. Typically I roll with Django, but have been super impressed with the Rails 3. I needed to get out of localhost:3000 land and ship a (somewhat functional) web app. Anyways, I built Current Ride as a place to put your bucket list items out in the open. The goal is really to inspire the community to do more things! Hi HN. I am not new to programming but very new to react-native. I thought I would share my first react-native application ever with HN for your comments. I have a day job as an enterprise developer and every day for 2 weeks I worked on my 60 minute bus ride in to work on this application from the front end to the back end.
