Hey HN! I’m Zach, from Coherence (https://www.withcoherence.com/). We’re building software that provides an integrated way to write, preview, and deploy code from one simple configuration. Check out our explainer video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2YHVx8QsLg and a high level demo here: https://www.loom.com/share/072c2afd1099496298f69ab21fdf2820 We started Coherence because we found technology teams spent 30-40% of their time yak shaving and writing glue code, instead of building products our customers love. We don’t think every team…

Hey HN! We're Vasilije, Laszlo and Lazar, the authors of a new paper and part of https://www.cognee.ai. cognee let’s you build memory layers for AI applications and agents, allowing them to personalize results, connect various data sources, and add custom rules. This enables AI apps to deliver increasingly accurate responses, we reached almost 90% on standard industry benchmarks as you can see here https://github.com/topoteretes/cognee/tree/main/evals and our paper can be accessed at: https://arxiv.org/abs/2505.24478 and collab…

I built Syne because I was tired of AI assistants that forget everything after each conversation. Syne is a self-hosted AI agent framework where memory is a first-class citizen — stored as semantic vectors in PostgreSQL, searchable across millions of entries, and persistent forever. Key features: - Unlimited persistent memory with semantic search (pgvector) - Anti-hallucination: only stores user-confirmed facts, auto-deduplicates - Self-evolving: creates new abilities at runtime without restart - Multi-model: switch between Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude mid-conversation - True $0/month setup:…

Yesterday I built something that probably shouldn’t exist yet. In 9 hours, I created a cognitive architecture demonstrating emergent reasoning. It follows a 5-step loop: Plan → Reason → Act → Reflect → Respond. Adding a WebSearchTool to test extensibility, the agent initially failed its first search, reflected on poor results, adapted its query, and then succeeded. This behavior wasn’t programmed; it emerged naturally from the architecture. Five hours later, I integrated a FileManagerTool — it worked on the first try. Like code compiling first time, except this was intelligence composing…
