Hi, I've been building Lighthouse for the better part of a year, and now seems to be a good opportunity to do a Show HN. Lighthouse is a RSS feed reader, and also supports subscribing to newsletters. It works really well for personal content curation, because differently from most readers, new content first arrives in the Lighthouse Inbox, where articles are either bookmarked (to move to library) or archived. I’ve been reading HackerNews for a long time, and often the upvoted articles are from great blogs I want to subscribe to. That’d be the job of an RSS feed reader. I got fed up with the news reader apps out there so I decided to make my own. Its a simple concept where it tracks all your favorite news sources for new posts and the social shares it received. Then it ranks it HN/Reddit style using social shares as upvotes. It's not meant to be alternative to HN, just a focused way to track your favorite sources. Last week I showed prldr.com, a small project I created during my weekends. The immediate thing I learned from the comments was that prldr had to be a RSS reader, which I already had in mind. So after another couple of days programming prldr.com is now a visual rss reader. You read the news by just opening the links from the RSS feeds, simple as that. features for now: management of feeds, import OPML file, keyboard navigation, automatic feed fetching. ps: I disabled preloading of tabs, because some browsers tend to crash when opening 30 iframes :P. There's lots of improvements I'd like to make but thought I should get some feedback first to see if anyone's interested in it. The main page just shows the most recent feed items (currently from only the 3 feeds I've added myself), but the idea is that it'll show the most popular items aggregated from all users.
