You build LLM applications with YAML files, that define an execution graph. Nodes can be either LLM API calls, regular function executions or other graphs themselves. Because you can nest graphs easily, building complex applications is not an issue, but at the same time you don't lose control. The YAML basically states what are the tasks that need to be done and how they connect. Other than that, you only write individual python functions to be called during the execution. No new classes and abstractions to learn.

This was a bit terrifying to record because 2am the previous night everything was totally broken after a major refactor (so that we could add external LLM support as well as local GPUs). Hello HN, I like Ansible as a tool for automation to perform tasks on multiple remote hosts. But like many of you, I'm sick of the custom YAML DSL that many of this kind of tools provide. How many times have we said "just give me a true scripting language!" ? I built MiniVim, a small and minimal Neovim configuration focused on keeping things simple and readable. The goal was to have a setup that: starts fast uses only essential plugins avoids heavy frameworks remains easy to understand and extend The structure is intentionally small: It’s not meant to compete with full Neovim distributions, but rather serve as a clean base configuration that can be extended gradually. I use it across multiple machines (laptop, WSL, and servers), so reproducibility and simplicity were priorities. Feedback is welcome.
