Products that do what MNML – Android Launcher (Open Testing Release) does

Just got the first open testing release approved on google play store for a minimal android launcher i'm developing. I recently switched to a phone with an e-ink display and was missing features in current minimal launchers, so i decided to make my own. Would love to hear your opinion, improvements that could be made or features to change/add. Hey , I've created Pixeleye, a cross-browser visual review and testing platform. I've found the pricing of visual testing platforms quite absurd, with companies often opting out of testing their UI's across different browsers. We offer a cloud version of our product but also provide the tools to self-host it for free. We hope this will keep our pricing honest and promote a sustainable open-source community around the project. Some of our main features include: - Cross-browser testing - Lots of integrations: Storybook, Cypress, Playwright & Puppeteer - Permission syncing - We'll sync with…

Hey HN, I've been working on an email client and wanted to get some feedback! Minimail is built on Phonegap, so it uses HTML/CSS/JS for everything user-facing. The app also uses emailbox (a related project of mine) as the backend API for receiving/parsing/sending emails. I think email clients need a huge UX/UI overhaul, and so I'm trying to build a flexible/hackable email client that anyone can customize to fit their email workflow. Thanks for any feedback! We believe the best software is built when devs seriously use the thing they're building. We're a mobile dev tools company (emergetools.com), but we don't actually build & ship "apps"... until now. Excited to share our first open-source app: Hacker News for Android Any feedback/PRs very welcome on the repo. We also wrote about why we built and open-sourced this HN app here: https://www.emergetools.com/blog/posts/open-sourcing-emerge-...

Hey all! This is a lightweight Android app to auto-change your wallpaper using AI generated images, implemented via the recently introduced DALL·E 3 API. I wanted something no-frills that isn't a bloated commercial option, so this is that. Open source, but also on the Play Store for convenience: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.minosapps.... It (optionally) injects the current time, current location (city and country name only, using coarse location access) and current weather into the prompt, so you can easily get a night scene with rain in the…

Howdy friends! Tell me if this is an atrociously terrible idea - I've been working on building a leetcode for clientside devs so we can practice React and Javascript interview questions in a more concise way, I call it clientside.dev I just finished a beta version of it yesterday and plan on releasing it with many more problems on Jan 1st but it's there if you wanna play with it open to any ideas / feedback however mean or nice it may be :)

Hello HNers, We have just released our Android App for Finderous and it can be downloaded from Goolge Play at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.finderous. Finderous (http://www.findero.us) is a location aware Q&A app with following places as the main feature. Finderous is also available on iPhone and was released a few months back. I would really appreciate some feedback on the app with comments and suggestions. Thanks

So, I have a Lenovo Idea Tab (11") tablet where I don't use a Google account, and several Google apps are disabled including the Play Store. I use Aurora Store and F-Droid to install and update packages. Only time I enable Play Store is to install an update to Play Services because Aurora Store can't (conflicting packages, meaning the signing key of the Play Services package has changed). I keep it disabled because it ignores the 'Don't Auto-update Packages' setting and updates Google apps packages without permission (and sometimes re-enables them)... What does show up as an update in…

Hello, I have just finished my second app, which is also my first ever pay to download app. It's called StreamClock, It's like a radio alarm clock, but uses a Last.fm radio station, or Spotify Track chosen by the user. It took me 1 month of evenings and weekends, and I fell like I have learned a lot. I am particularly proud of the logo... To find it just search "StreamClock" in Google Play. I would really appreciate any feedback, comments, questions or suggestions. Thanks.

Headlamp is a Chrome extension that shows where you're missing tests. It reveals gaps in testing for solo testers, test teams (collaborative bug-bash, anyone?), and test automation (Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright). Using it is easy as 1-2-3! 1) When you start testing, Headlamp puts a dot on each link and input element. 2) The dots are cleared when you click a link, type some text, or change a selection. 3) The remaining dots show you which things you missed. It also provides insightful test activity reports. It's free to use as a solo tester. Give it a try today!
