OP here. I built RepoReaper to solve code context fragmentation in RAG. Unlike standard chat-with-repo tools, it simulates a senior engineer's workflow: it parses Python AST for logic-aware chunking, uses a ReAct loop to JIT-fetch missing file dependencies from GitHub, and employs hybrid search (BM25+Vector). I was getting tired of copy/pasting reams of code into GPT-4 to give it context before I asked it to help me, so I started this small tool. I’ve been in the MLOps space for ~10 years, and data is still the hardest unsolved open problem. Code is versioned using Git, data is stored somewhere else, and context often lives in a 3rd location like Slack or GDocs. I started building a couple of years ago because I found no easy existing solution to build Slack bots that can be composed from/organized into plugins. Existing libraries like Bolt make it pretty easy to develop Slack bots, but hard to organize and scale the code base of your bot. I was also missing some crucial features such as scheduling actions for your bot. So I wrote my own framework!
