Hi! This is my little project introducing quasicrystals animations with some parameters. It uses a custom shader to allow higher resolution. Not all combinations look equally good. For example the "Spectrum" color palette IMO makes sense only for low values of "Tempo" and "Pattern Density". If you have VR googles, I recommend trying the WebXR version - it's really nice.

I created OSS for the first time. LiquidUI is a library aimed at making it easy to create a UI that shakes with Raect. The UI provided by this library can have its animations customized by changing the component properties. ・GitHub repository: https://github.com/enumura1/liquidui

We added a new feature to our open-source HTML5 game engine today that allows you to create Sprite GPU Layers. These pack together simple JS object definitions onto the GPU and renders them using a custom vertex shader. This skips all CPU computation and GPU upload operations, resulting in vastly increased performance. For objects that don't need to be updated by input, physics, or other interactive behaviors, we found it to be a great solution. In testing, we've easily managed to blast millions of sprites around on moderate desktop-grade GPUs. Indeed, we hit the fill rate limitation of the…

In previous series: https://medium.com/@ivanpashenko/how-one-designer-was-learning-swift-cc2d99658895 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=8556056 I've got very useful feedback from HN community previous time. Thanks a lot guys! What was done: - Changed the name (now it is searchable in the App Store by the name) - Slowmo action to slow the game down for 15 sec - In app purchase (slowmos) - Pause button works now as it suppose to work - Location achievements (Don't forget to allow location service) - Bugfixes

I have always dreamed of learning Swift and creating apps for iOS, but I never found the motivation to do so. I was scared by the complexity and the learning curve of programming with UIKit and Storyboard. I thought they were too complicated and too boring for me. But then I discovered SwiftUI, the new framework for building user interfaces for Apple platforms. I was captivated by its simplicity and elegance. I watched some videos and read some articles about it and I was blown away by what it could do. I decided to give it a shot and see if I could learn it and make something with it. I set…

StoryMotion, a hand-drawn motion graphics editor for educational content creators. --- 5 months ago, I launched Inscribed.app [1], a tool based on Excalidraw for making step-by-step explanation (like slides) that I can easily embed to explain concepts on my blog. [1] https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43078555 as I later expanded into video, I decided to fork the project and create another tool which focus solely on making animation. --- Key features: - Keynote-liked interfaces with Excalidraw canvas - effects animation library - scene transition animation -- fun fact: you…
