Hi HN, we’re open-sourcing ktx. It’s an executable context layer that makes agents reliable on your data stack. We built it after going through the experience of building production-grade data agents for dozens of companies. If you’ve also tried building them, or simply tried using Claude Code or Codex on your data warehouse, you’ll know that accuracy is the #1 issue. Agents are great at generating valid SQL, but it’s not always correct SQL. To cite a few examples of “agents gone wrong”: - Stale column + hidden business rule: when preparing a board report, a finance analyst asks Claude Code…

I think agent-first chat interfaces will be a primary software modality and busy dashboard/UI will go away. I’m not sure who exactly wins it, but I want my knowledge to grow/go with me. A lot of the “knowledge” ie research, analysis, reasoning will be done by agents as the primary user. Our current notes tools & tasks management systems were built for humans… I don’t care what the 17th thing on my bug backlog is. I want to conduct agents that can execute for me and do great work. What I built OzBrain to do: + Create a central place for agent reasoned knowledge to live + Be agnostic…

sudocode is a lightweight context management system for coding agents that lives in your repo. It helps organize the chaos of human-AI collaboration by capturing user intent as durable specs and tracking agent activity as issues, all version-controlled with Git. This "context-as-code" approach reduces agent amnesia and accelerates development on long-horizon tasks.

Hey HN! We're Lucas and Soheil, the founders of Praxos (https://praxos.ai). Praxos is a context manager for AI Agents, providing everything you need to build stateful agents that don't break in production. Praxos can parse any data source, from unstructured PDFs and API streams to conversational messages, to structured databases, and transform them into a single Knowledge Graph. Everything in this graph is semantically typed and its relationships are made explicit, turning data into a clean, queryable universe of understanding that AI can use without making mistakes. Whether you…

Hey HN! I’m Ashwin, co-founder of ContextFort (https://contextfort.ai/). We provide visibility and controls for AI browser agents like Claude in Chrome through an open-source browser extension. Browser agents are AI copilots that can autonomously navigate and take actions in your browser. They show up as standalone browsers (Comet, Atlas) or Chrome extensions (Claude). They’re especially useful in sites where search/API connectors don’t work well, like searching through Google Groups threads for a bug fix or pulling invoices from BILL.com. Anthropic released Claude CoWork…

Hey HN! I'm Fabio and I built UltraContext, a simple context API for AI agents with automatic versioning. After two years building AI agents in production, I experienced firsthand how frustrating it is to manage context at scale. Storing messages, iterating system prompts, debugging behavior and multi-agent patterns—all while keeping track of everything without breaking anything. It was driving me insane. So I built UltraContext. The mental model is git for context: - Updates and deletes automatically create versions (history is never lost) - Replay state at any point The API is 5 methods:…

Hi HN, There’s been a lot of discussion lately around context graphs, decision traces, and how AI systems reason. One thing we kept running into: when AI agents make real decisions, the why behind those decisions often disappears. The context is scattered across prompts, tools, policies, and approvals. Logs show what happened, but not why it was allowed. TraceMem is an attempt to make decision context durable. It records the reasoning, authority, and context behind AI actions as a system of record, not as monitoring data, but as memory. Happy to share more details or answer questions. - Tommi
