A few days ago, I responded to a comment by bloggergirl offering to read anyone's web copy and help. I shot off an email hoping for a paragraph or two of feedback on my startup's copy. Instead I received a professional, detailed deck of tons of invaluable well thought out feedback. It must have taken her an entire afternoon. My other half runs a care home in the UK. She was frustrated with some of the remaining paper based processes, and the 'techy' alternatives were off-putting. So we built Care Home Domestic. The project is self funded and has been a fun and exciting journey! It is currently in use at a few homes and feedback so far is really good. For years, I have struggled to understand my cash flow and save for the future. In addition to that, my wife has many credit cards and accounts that complicate matters. I am building a tool that connects all our accounts, helps us create a budget, and tracks and adjusts expenses on the fly. I am also sprinkling some AI magic on it for financial suggestions.
