A PoC generative UI in Elixir Phoenix LiveView in <60 loc

I've been writing Elixir for 5 years and made plenty of sites with Phoenix and LiveView but my biggest gripe has always been with the lack of quality UI components available. The JS ecosystem has so many, and it's the one thing I miss from being primarily a React & Node developer. So this is my attempt at bringing some pretty and useful components most applications need to Phoenix projects to try and fill in the gaps between what makes LiveView such a productive joy to work with. I migrated programmerhumor.io from WordPress to Elixir&#x2F;Phoenix and the results are mind-blowing. The site is now blazingly fast with dramatically reduced server load and zero crashes. No more WordPress plugin hell with constant conflicts, security patches, and performance degradation. Phoenix LiveView made the UX significantly smoother than the WordPress version. The migration process was surprisingly manageable thanks to Phoenix's clean conventions, which helped untangle the WordPress spaghetti schema. My only regret is not making the switch sooner.

I had 14,000 photos sitting on a drive and wanted an excuse to play with local vision models and Elixir&#x2F;Phoenix. I originally tried to get LLaVA to tell me if a photo was 'good' or matched my style, but quickly learned that LLMs have terrible taste. I ended up demoting the LLM to just extract metadata, and built a custom CLIP&#x2F;Ridge Regression pipeline to actually learn my preferences based on how I rate things.
