In plain words
This is a terminal-based chat application that lets users interact with AI models while maintaining control of their conversation data. It features a straightforward Model Context Protocol (MCP) client implementation, designed for simplicity and effectiveness. The tool is aimed at developers and users who prefer command-line interfaces and want to keep their chat history local rather than stored on external servers.

A deceptively simple agent app. Contribute to luohy15/y-agent development by creating an account on GitHub.
Renamed from y-cli . y-cli wrapped model APIs; y-agent wraps coding agents. Web chat renders inline artifacts from assistant messages: Mermaid diagrams, Vega-Lite charts, and sanitized artifact-svg blocks. Coding agents like Claude Code / Codex are great for code, but code is only part of my daily life. I also have ledgers, calendars, todos, notes, emails. I want the agent to handle those too. Same data for me and for the agent. Files go through read / write / edit . Anything I'd reach for a GUI to do, the agent reaches for a CLI — it's already happy in Bash. Rule: whatever I can do in the GUI, the agent can do via CLI. The underlying file or DB row is the same. I don't want to carry a…from github.com

Our team has been using MCP tools as part of core team workflows for a few weeks now, and it's fantastic. We're particularly fans of remote-hosted MCP…

I was at FB/Meta from late 2013 to early 2023, mostly working in the compiler/runtime spaces. I got hit in the spring 2023 layoff wave. I immediately started making games in my newfound free time (a lifelong interest, and I even worked in AA(A?) back ca. ~2000), and in October 2023 I stumbled upon the idea of a roguelike pachinko/plinko game inspired by Luck Be A Landlord. Things snowballed quickly, I started talking to publishers, then worked like crazy through all of 2024, almost the hardest I've ever worked in my career, and launched the game in December 2024. It's sold…
