What it does

Athelan is an indie game made by 2 people that stands out as one of the only PvP tactics games without pay-to-win and without meta progression. It is a game first and foremost about player skills. It offers endless replayability by giving players the ability to create their own teams and layouts making every match unique. It also innovates by offering a multi-queue system, allowing you to queue up for multiple game modes at once. The demo comes out January 16th. Make sure to wishlist!

Athelan Battlegrounds is a PvP turn-based tactics for those who care about player skill above all. Join intergalactic champions in a retro-futuristic arena as they fight for the fate of their planets against contenders from across the cosmos. Every choice matters, and the winner takes all!

Athelan Battlegrounds is a free-to-play, turn-based tactics game with no meta progression and no pay-to-win. It's a game made for players who thrive in a skill-based competitive environment and promises to be easy to learn but incredibly difficult to master! Choose your champions (or duplicates of your favorites!) and place them wherever you like on your side of the board. Save the loadout so you can quickly swap between teams before heading to the PvP queues! Customize your champion skins, board tiles, arena and death benches. Once again, NO pay-to-win here. I posted once before but wanted to share again because a lot has changed. There's now a fairly strong bot to play against (contributed by a community member) and also correspondence games. The combination of these things helps a bit in finding people to play against.

    I'm writing an MMORPG game for learning programming2022 · bytelegend.com · ▲229

Hi, I've been developing an HTML5 MMORPG game where people can submit code to play a game, like collect items, destroy defense towers or kill monsters, etc.. I've been working on this for over 1.5 yrs (all my spare time) and now it's ready for preview, does anyone want to try it out? It's mostly opensource (and the rest will be opensource sooner or later) Please access it with PC, it's an HTML5 game: https://bytelegend.com/ I really want it to expand to more languages, but right now I've only finished Java part. I wonder if anyone can help me with other languages. Besides, I'm…

    An online 2D MMO game, written in Rust and JavaScript2024 · polyfight.io · ▲171

I made a game (https://polyfight.io/) which revolves around a player (a tank) leveling up and upgrading by killing shapes and other tanks (partially inspired by https://diep.io). It has a bunch of features, a vast number of tanks, an inbuilt chatting system, clans to make teams with your friends, a colour scheme maker, controllable sandboxes which can be public or private, a last man standing gamemode, and an inbuilt 1v1 system with its own ELO rankings and a global leaderboard. The game has a few players right now, and I'd hope to spread the joy players have with…

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
