From the sources

vLine wasn’t always a random video chat. In fact, it started as something completely different — a technology platform built back in 2011, when browser-based video communication was still new. At a time when most solutions were slow and unreliable, vLine introduced a faster, cleaner, and more advanced way to connect people online. Over the years, we built global infrastructure, worked on low-latency connections, and solved real-world challenges like network restrictions, browser compatibility, and video stability.
