Hero Map – Covering the world in a fog of war to encourage exploration

In plain words

Hero Map is a mobile game that covers the world in a fog of war, requiring players to explore to reveal locations and complete their map. Launched in 2016, it gamifies real-world exploration by turning geography into an interactive discovery experience. The app is designed for users who enjoy exploration-based gameplay and want to engage with their surroundings through a game mechanic that rewards movement and location-finding.
