I made a credit system API
I'm a solopreneur and I made it very easy to integrate a credit system into your apps and games using Creduse. I built Creduse because more and more users want pay-as-you-go models, and founders need new ways to increase user engagement or nicely limit cost-intensive features (see AI). Creduse is built by a developer for developers. I hope it will help as many startups as possible. Feedback are very much appreciated. Francesco

In plain words
Creduse is a credit system API that enables developers to integrate pay-as-you-go billing into applications and games. Built by a solo developer, it allows founders to manage user engagement and control costs for resource-intensive features like AI services. The API is designed with developer workflows in mind, offering straightforward integration for startups seeking flexible monetization models.

CredytNov 2025 · credyt.ai · ▲100Hey HN! I'm the founder of Credyt (https://credyt.ai). If you're running an AI product that burns $0.50+ per interaction, you need to bill customers as usage happens, not at the end of the month. Otherwise you're a bank for your customers, and you'll run out of money before they do. Why invoice-based billing doesn't work for AI: Most usage-based billing tools (Stripe Billing, Orb, etc.) were built for SaaS. They meter usage all month, then send an invoice. That works fine when your COGS is 5%. It's a disaster when you're paying your AI vendor upfront for every request and your…
delegareApr 2026 · delegare.dev · ▲70Hi guys, am building SecureLend.ai and when working on our underwriting agents (free trial, paid after) I had issues with seamless payment options. Of course I looked at x402 which I believe is a great protocol but not a fan of a) sharing private keys with the agent b) having a human in the loop or c) similar workaround e.g. pre-funded wallets So I started building out a solution. For my use case it was important to not only have stablecoins but also a fiat rail which is now implemented using Stripe. Initially I build a mandate system internally but am very glad and big shoutout to the guys…

Hey HN: I'm Kaveh, the founder of Usage (https://www.usage.ai/) We help companies drive down AWS costs. Why? Because the way it's done now is a pain. Stakeholders, especially engineers, are required to spend unnecessary time manually finding underutilized or overly expensive EC2s. We believe the optimization process should be done automatically through a series of sophisticated algorithms. At the moment, there are over 70,000 AWS EC2 prices - doing that manually just won't scale at most organizations. My background is in software engineering. Previous to founding Usage, I…

Hey there HN! We’re Joe and Stopa, and today we’re open sourcing InstantDB, a client-side database that makes it easy to build real-time and collaborative apps like Notion and Figma. Building modern apps these days involves a lot of schleps. For a basic CRUD app you need to spin up servers, wire up endpoints, integrate auth, add permissions, and then marshal data from the backend to the frontend and back again. If you want to deliver a buttery smooth user experience, you’ll need to add optimistic updates and rollbacks. We do these steps over and over for every feature we build, which can…
