LoricaPrompt

Stop secrets and personal data from leaking online

What it does

LoricaPrompt is a local data-protection layer for your browser. It checks what you paste or upload before it reaches AI tools or other websites, detecting API keys, credentials, personal data, tokens, and other sensitive information. It also supports local file/OCR scanning, custom websites, and custom detection patterns. Everything is processed locally, so your sensitive content stays on your device.

Craft your perfect browser experience with our collection of powerful Chrome extensions. Professional tools for productivity, privacy, and performance.

A privacy layer between your data and the web. LoricaPrompt checks what you paste or upload in real time — across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, web applications, and your own custom rules. Accidentally pasting an API key, password, or customer identifier? LoricaPrompt catches the secret locally in milliseconds, allowing you to mask it instantly before submitting. Sensitive information leaks happen in everyday workflows. Here is how LoricaPrompt stops them before data ever leaves your machine. Production stack traces and logs often carry Stripe secret keys, AWS tokens, database connection strings, and internal hostnames alongside the error message. LoricaPrompt intercepts the paste in 0.05…from browsercraftstudio.com

    IPDetective – An API for IP bot detection2022 · ipdetective.io · ▲68

IPDetective collects data from about 60+ different sources such as official cloud provider endpoints and public VPN/Proxy/Tor/Bot net lists. Then aggregates this data into a fast and easy to use API that can be integrated into applications or scripts easily. IPDetective started as a hobby project for my other hobby projects :) and I decided to wrap a simple website around and offer it as a service. Let me know what your thoughts, if you find value in this service or if you have any feature requests.

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
