MicroClash

60 tiny games, 10 friends, one champion

What it does

MicroClash is a party arcade of 60 micro-games - each lasts 5-10 seconds and needs one finger. Up to 10 friends play live rooms where everyone gets the same game with the same random seed at the same moment, so only skill decides the podium. One-tap link invites, no accounts. Plus a global daily challenge with streaks, solo runs, endless mode and practice. Free on Android, built by one person, with a new game shipping every week or two.

60 lightning-fast micro-games. Challenge up to 10 friends in live rooms, race the daily challenge, and claim the crown. Free on Android.

Play online instantly, or create a private room and share a 5-letter code — friends tap your invite link and land straight in your lobby. Ten rapid-fire rounds, each a surprise: react, aim, count, remember, calculate. Everyone plays the exact same challenge at the same time. Points every round, podium at the end, instant rematch to run it back. Fastest fingers and coolest heads win. One shared daily challenge for every player on Earth — same games, same seed. Keep the streak alive, climb the leaderboards. Grab it free, make a room, and find out who actually has the fastestfrom microclash.io

Hey everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster. I've just reached beta in my game BoxByte Lyte. -What is it- It's a free 3d arcade game for hardcore players that uses color matching in interesting ways. Also it's a one button game, well movement and one button. Cool huh? The final release will be free too. -What I need- This is a very challenging game, so I really need to balance the difficulty so that it's still hard but not impossible. It would be great just to hear your experiences of the game and how far in it you got. -Where can I report bugs?-…

  • Hi HN, I built Eigendrum, a web tool that solves the 2D wave equation for arbitrary shapes so you can hear what they sound like as drums. How it works: * Solves -∇²u = λu using finite element analysis (Kφ = λMφ) on a triangle mesh. * Validated to <0.1% error against closed-form solutions for circles (Bessel zeros) and rectangles. * Sound model factors in strike location, Rayleigh damping, and mallet width. * Includes Kac drums I & II to demonstrate identical sound spectra from different geometries. * No frameworks, build steps, or dependencies. Repo and tests:…

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
