In plain words

(My first webapp) is a community platform for designing and sharing HTML5 platform game stages. Launched in 2012, it provides tools for game creators to build, test, and collaborate on level designs. The site appeals to indie game developers and enthusiasts interested in platform game creation. It stands out as a dedicated space focused specifically on stage design rather than full game development, allowing creators to focus on crafting engaging levels and learning from others in the community.

I’ve decided to work full-time on the design system I’ve always wanted, and today I’m launching and open-sourcing it. I'm making a platform for simple open source games you can play anywhere. Games are all just JavaScript classes and you can read the source of every game on the platform. I started working on initial "games" (mostly rendering tests) in 2018 and eventually built all of the platform stuff around it to make it easy to share games. There's also an in-browser editor available for you to make and publish games all from the browser. Would love some feedback on the games and studio features as well as the platform overall. All of the code is available at https://github.com/homegamesio
