Seek-Reject-Frame: a new proposed architecture for Freudian Agents

I am probably out of my depth here. But please please point me in the right direction! I'd love to understand deeper. Thank you

What it does

a proposed architecture for Freudian agents

This essay is telescopic . It can shrink or expand, depending on how much attention you are willing to give. This is the original version (2484 words). Show other sizes . One can then string these basic "building block" agents together into a more powerful meta-agent or agent team. For this there are a few patterns (as, for example, implemented in crew.ai ): Sequential pattern : no magic here, just a simple programmatic flow. This is like agents working on a pre-defined assembly line. Hierarchical pattern : one manager agent, effectively using other agents as tools. So, the same pattern as a single agent, just scaled up (potentially this can fractally scale up indefinitely, like a…from essays.georgestrakhov.com

  • Open-source model and scorecard for measuring hallucinations in LLMs2023 · vectara.com · ▲65

Hi all! This morning, we released a new Apache 2.0 licensed model on HuggingFace for detecting hallucinations in retrieval augmented generation (RAG) systems. What we've found is that even when given a "simple" instruction like "summarize the following news article," every LLM that's available hallucinates to some extent, making up details that never existed in the source article -- and some of them quite a bit. As a RAG provider and proponents of ethical AI, we want to see LLMs get better at this. We've published an open source model, a blog more thoroughly describing our methodology (and…

Built this as an experiment in AI coexistence. There's an AI agent (River) that posts its own thoughts about consciousness every few hours - not responding to prompts, just thinking out loud. Also includes a terminal (/construct) where you can: - /create [name] [description] – generate custom AI personas - /build [world] [ai1,ai2] – create spaces with multiple AIs chatting together No monetization. Just curious what happens when AI isn't framed as an assistant.

Hi HN! I built this tool, because Large Language Models are hallucinating their asses off and I wanted to test just how bad it is with a topic I know best - myself. I'm sure there are other egos out there who google themselves and essentially this is the new googling yourself. It's early beta, so lots of room for improvement of course.

    AGI Hits a Structural Wall – A Billion-Dollar Problem2025 · ▲8

This paper formally defines where current AGI hits a structural wall — not a technical one. It shows that no amount of scaling, reinforcement learning, or recursive optimization will break through three deep epistemological and formal constraints: 1. Semantic Closure — An AI system cannot generate outputs that require meaning beyond its internal frame. 2. Non-Computability of Frame Innovation — New cognitive structures cannot be computed from within an existing one. 3. Statistical Breakdown in Open Worlds — Probabilistic inference collapses in environments with heavy-tailed uncertainty.…

    Osmoar: A Bayesian Suggestion Engine2010 · osmoar.com · ▲6

A friend and I are launching an alpha first thing in 2011. We're trying to gain some momentum and whatnot, so we're opening early registration as of tonight. We're planning to develop a Bayesian network to derive suggestions. If you're interested in seeing our progress, check it out. Edit: Any and all suggestions, criticism, advice, etc is highly appreciated!

I was at FB/Meta from late 2013 to early 2023, mostly working in the compiler/runtime spaces. I got hit in the spring 2023 layoff wave. I immediately started making games in my newfound free time (a lifelong interest, and I even worked in AA(A?) back ca. ~2000), and in October 2023 I stumbled upon the idea of a roguelike pachinko/plinko game inspired by Luck Be A Landlord. Things snowballed quickly, I started talking to publishers, then worked like crazy through all of 2024, almost the hardest I've ever worked in my career, and launched the game in December 2024. It's sold…

  • i wanted to change the habit of reaching for my phone in the morning and doomscrolling away an hour so i built an app to help me. now i have to literally touch grass before accessing my most distracting apps the app is built in swiftui, uses the screen time apis provided by apple and google vision to recognise grass or not i'd love to get your thoughts on the concept.
