Sentrint

Security for non-technical founders building with AI

What it does

Sentrint scans the repository behind your AI-built app to surface exploitable security risks and guide you to a fix. It analyzes secrets, database access rules, dependencies, and risky code paths, then uses an AI layer to cut false positives and draft a platform-specific fix prompt for tools like Claude, Gemini, Cursor, and more. Reports grade your risk, explain each finding in plain English, and verify improvements across rescans, with strict privacy and ephemeral scanning enforced.

An automated security check for apps built with Bolt, Cursor or v0. Plain-English findings and a copy-paste fix. No jargon, no terminal.

Point Sentrint at the repo behind the app you built with Claude, Gemini or any of the 16 LLM platforms it supports. Its security engine reads every line for four things: hardcoded secrets, database access rules, dependencies and code paths. An AI layer then drops the results that are not really exploitable and writes the fix. Back comes a score out of 100 with a grade, every finding written in plain English, and a fix prompt rewritten for whichever of those platforms built the app. Paste the fix, scan again, and the grade climbs. Catch what your AI coding agent left exposed before they make headlines. Get ranked findings, with one-click fix prompts tailored to your stack. Standard AI…from sentrint.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
