In plain words

Shadergarden is a tool for creating and reloading graphical pipelines using Lisp and GLSL. It allows users to write shader code and visual effects that update without restarting, combining the flexibility of Lisp scripting with OpenGL shader language. Say hello to shadergarden Create evolving artistic images with hot-code-reloaded Lisp and GLSL. Isaac Clayton September 07, 2021 Hey, I'm Isaac Clayton, nice to meet you! This summer, I had the amazing opportunity to work as a software engineer intern at tonari, where I developed real-time stereo depth estimation algorithms for the GPU. As I progressed further into my research, I was surprised by how slow some aspects of building a graphical pipeline were. To fill this gap, while working on implementing different algorithms, I also developed tooling to help remove some of the friction in the prototyping process. At first, this tooling was just a jumble of utilities for hot-code reloading…from blog.tonari.no

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
