Steddy – Robinhood for Exercise
After talking to a lot of people about their exercise habits, we realized that one of the most popular apps for tracking workouts is actually the Notes app. Because most people’s interests and hobbies change, it’s very hard for a single type of exercise app (running, lifting, CrossFit, etc.) to remain useful to people over the long run. So we built Steddy: an exercise app with no videos, fitness models, or made up weight loss projections. Instead, planning and check-in is as simple as a well-designed todo app. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible to “deposit” your exercise each time…

1 min workouts for people who sit all day2025 · shortreps.com · ▲153I am a software developer and in the last few months after recently becoming a father I was barely finding time for a proper workout. Recently I was reading about new research on Snack Exercises and how beneficial mini workouts of less than 2mins every so often, during the day are to our body. So, I decided to build an iOS App for me and others to help with this. The app generates a list of exercises that I need to tick to complete daily or loose my streak. The algorithm takes into account muscle groups and balancing the exercises to hit most main muscles. I also stayed going through all…
Steps: Workout & PedometerMar 2026 · getsteps.app · ▲98Hey HN, I'm a solo developer and I built Steps: Workout & Pedometer, an iOS pedometer and workout tracker. Last week, two German iOS publications wrote about the app. I didn't pitch them. I didn't send a press release. I didn't even know it was happening. I woke up to a spike in downloads, checked the analytics, and traced it back to their articles. That coverage pushed the app past $1,000 in sales. I still have no idea how they found the app. I'm wondering if anyone here has experience getting featured in publications, whether organically or through outreach. What worked for you? Any tips…

Hey HN, I've been working on https://pornpen.ai, a site for generating adult images. Please only visit the site if you are 18+ and willing to look at NSFW images. This site is an experiment using newer text-to-image models. I explicitly removed the ability to specify custom text to avoid harmful imagery from being generated. New tags will be added once the prompt-engineering algorithm is fine-tuned further. If the servers are overloaded, take a look at the feed and search pages to look through past results.
