Stringify – a new IoT platform to let you visually connect everything
Hi HN, We're a new Bay Area startup aiming to connect all of your things visually - supporting multiple triggers (AND and OR), multiple actions, cascading flows, etc. We're already integrating with dozens of services, both physical and digital - SmartThings, LIFX, Hue, Jawbone, Withings, Misfit, Dropbox, Google Drive, and the list goes on. We're really hoping to get some additional beta testers. We're on iOS only for now - so if you have an iPhone and want to give it a shot, get on our invite list @ https://www.stringify.com and we'll send you a TestFlight invite in the next few…

Hi all! I'm a 17-year old self-taught developer just starting to tap into the mobile world! :3 This summer, I've worked on a minimalist distance-based alarm clock app that wakes you up before you miss your stop! Check it out here! http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/app/commuter-buddy/cb9b5107-41e0-4d2b-b0d6-110fe555fc3b Feedback and comments are welcome, thanks :)

Hey HN, I'm a longtime reader and this is my first Show HN (exciting!) It's a collaboration between me and two friends, and we're building this upon another app we made called EmailYak, an API to receive email. We're trying something new and releasing the documentation to an app while we're still building it. We'd love feedback. Do you belong to any of these categories? 1) You've built an app with two distinct groups of users (say, people with cars and those looking for a ride) and they were able to communicate with each other. Did you expose personal email addresses? Did you send…
- MJMobify.js, a client side adaptation framework for going mobile2012 · ▲6
Hey HN! We would love to hear your thoughts on our new client-side adaptation framework called Mobify.js. We've worked extremely hard on this product for a year and a half now, and we recently went open source with it. We use it internally to create mobile websites for our customers, and we would love for the rest of the world to use it too. Here is our first blog post on it: http://www.mobify.com/blog/introducing-mobify-js/. Once again, feedback would be awesome - go ahead and be brutally honest :)

I am announcing the private beta of my first web app (http://getfounder.com). The beta will launch in just one city, which will be determined by the number of entries on the location-aware sign up page. As this is my first public release, I'm looking to the HN community to offer me feedback on what I should/shouldn't be displaying on the homepage. I'd be grateful for any advice you had to offer. Thanks, and I hope to see some of you in the private beta! Colin

Hi HN, I built Eigendrum, a web tool that solves the 2D wave equation for arbitrary shapes so you can hear what they sound like as drums. How it works: * Solves -∇²u = λu using finite element analysis (Kφ = λMφ) on a triangle mesh. * Validated to <0.1% error against closed-form solutions for circles (Bessel zeros) and rectangles. * Sound model factors in strike location, Rayleigh damping, and mallet width. * Includes Kac drums I & II to demonstrate identical sound spectra from different geometries. * No frameworks, build steps, or dependencies. Repo and tests:…
