TatsuVault

Combine real-world exploration with gamified adventure

What it does

Hey folks, Geocaching and treasure hunting is getting a fresh twist. With TatsuVault I'm adding gamified features that make it way more social. It's about building communities- creators making hunts, hunters teaming up, chatting and having fun together. I'm also mixing in businesses so being active actually brings rewards. I´ve added cool features for creating drops, rewards and more.. Product isn´t 100% finished/polished yet, game part is basic,,RPG styled game update is next big step.

TLDR; We made an AR treasure hunt app, we are running a hunt for YOU in SF, download it here to try it out: https://scvg.app/dl/gg7P Hello, I’d like to introduce a project I’ve been working on for a few months now. It’s called Scavenger. In April, at a YC Hackathon, I came up with the idea to create augmented reality treasure hunts for cash prizes. I had been working on some VR projects for a while, but after receiving a lot of positive feedback about Scavenger, I decided to start full-time. My co-founder, Harry, came on board immediately after I pitched him the idea in…

My friend and I made a fully featured gaming geoguessr - complete with 360 degree panoramas, movement, leaderboards, and multiplayer. World of Warcraft alone took us roughly 3,000,000 images to do (and will likely need another 1,000,000 for Dragonflight once it releases). We are finally at a point where we…

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
