I'm a software engineer and keyboard enthusiast who wanted custom keycap sets but couldn't find anything I liked. That led me to build Thockfactory, an online keycap configurator that lets anyone design and order their own custom sets. The first version launched back in April 2024, but after feedback and my own experience using it, I realized the shop and configurator needed a complete overhaul. I was the main contributor to workout.lol, an open-source fitness app to easily build a workout routine. The project had traction (1.4k GitHub stars, 95 forks, ~20K visits/month), but was eventually sold due to video licensing hurdles. The new owner stopped maintaining it, and the repo went abandoned.
