The framework comes from Laurence W. Britt’s 2003 essay for Free Inquiry . Fixed searches about US politics collect candidate articles from selected outlets, including US and UK publishers, every hour. A language model checks concrete US government actions against fourteen characteristics. Supporting excerpts must appear in the source text, and a second review checks each proposed match. Articles that meet the relevance and confidence thresholds are counted by day to show patterns in collected coverage. Adjusted daily article averages, before conversion to the 0–100 score.
