Why we invited a whole city and a dog to our launch

At Ziteboard (zoomable whiteboard in your browser) we chat a lot - when we work alone as well… Having a trusted companion with us enables creativity and productivity to exist on a higher level and makes us a bit less neurotic. What it does

In the maker’s words, at launch

At Ziteboard (zoomable whiteboard in your browser) we chat a lot - when we work alone as well… Having a trusted companion with us enables creativity and productivity to exist on a higher level and makes us a bit less neurotic. To see Poppy (short haired daschund) visit the live broadcast of the launch here: www.ustream.tv/channel/ziteboard We also invited all our friends who of course will not show up for there is a hell of a storm out there, and made the launch public to whoever comes to share their insights and experiences. We are looking forward to have your feedback on our service which let’s you draw (whatever) in a browser, and zoom in and out. It’s a plain zoomable whiteboard - nothing more, nothing less. May be good for ad-hoc presentation, meetings, doodling, you tell us. Please do visit: http://ziteboard.com Cheers.

Please check it out. I spent all of 2012 learning to code to launch what would eventually become Uncover. I'm super excited to announce that we're finally live. Here's a blog post I wrote on how we got there and a little story behind the startup: http://spencerfry.com/introducing-uncover

    I just open sourced Muxamp, a streaming media playlist in Node.js2013 · github.com · ▲32

Hey HN! I've been working on Muxamp for over a year now, and I decided that there's no point in keeping the source closed. (I never planned on making money from it.) I've learned a lot since I started, and I hope others can benefit from its release--and perhaps teach me a thing or two as well :)

    our Co-op onboarding project2011 · ▲8

Hi Hacker News! My Co Co-op Matt and I are on a work term and were given the task of building a webapp that could make $20 in four weeks as our onboarding challenge. We're in the final stretch here and would sure appreciate HN's thoughts (we realize we kind of did this backwards, building something first before talking to people who might use it, but hey! We're leaning.). So basically, we tried to apply game dynamics to retaining visitors to websites by offering a reward (ie. discount coupon / premium content, etc.) for meeting various 'objectives' (ie. pages to visit). We call it ScavSite…
