Play Sokoban in your browser and watch an AI solver crack it. A plain-JS port of a native C++ engine, it returns the provably optimal (fewest-move) solution, entirely client-side.

Dev here. I created a puzzle that looks like Rubik's cube but works differently. Instead of turning faces, closed bands of 12 stickers slide around the cube. Every scramble is solvable. I built on-device AI solvers that solve it in about 60 moves (sometimes substantially less than that) I'm not even a cuber so since I created it I've been thinking that no human can solve it. Until this Tuesday when I showed it to r/Cubers. It took them about an hour to find a solution. The first human solve was about 240 moves using mostly (how they call it) 4-move commutators:…

Built a blockchain where you mine blocks by accomplishing real-world goals instead of solving computational puzzles. AI verifies your achievements, peers review them, and successful ones become permanent blockchain records. Demo: https://proof-of-awesome.app How it works: Submit achievements like "ran 5km today" or "learned a new song" with photo evidence AI validates achievement authenticity and difficulty Community peer review for quality control Accepted achievements earn you the right to mine the next block Earn AwesomeCoins as rewards, permanently recorded on-chain Technical…

I built 1e4.ai - a chess web app where you play against neural networks trained to mimic human Lichess players at specific Elo ranges. There's a separate model for each 100-point rating bucket from ~800 to 2200+, and the bots not only choose human-like moves but also burn clock time, play worse under time pressure, and blunder in human-like ways. Live demo: https://1e4.ai Code: https://github.com/thomasj02/1e4_ai A few things that might be interesting: - Trained on almost a full year of Lichess blitz games, around 1B total games - Architecture is an a small…
