Products that do what I made a little digital circuit simulator that operates on PNGs does
This is a little toy project of mine that lets you simulate digital logic graphs. It was inspired by Minecraft's Redstone and the Piet esolang. It's got some serious drawbacks-- you write circuits as PNGs and simulate them with a Python interface. It's slow to run and slow to experiment with. And it is certainly difficult to use for people with any kind of color blindness. But despite that, I hope this can still be a fun toy!

I am a Dutch high school student and last year I had to do a large project of my own choice. Together with two other guys I decided to do a project about digital logic. We had an ambitious plan: building an 8-bits computer. At that time I started learning programming and I already knew some HTML and CSS. So we decided to not build a physical computer, but one running in a self-built simulator. I was going to build the simulator, the other guys took care of the computer. I was hard, our school hadn't taught us anything about computers and programming so we had to learn everything ourselves.…

I built ChipBuilder to make computer architecture more approachable through interactive puzzles. You start with basic logic gates like AND, OR, and NOT, then gradually combine them into adders, multiplexers, memory, an ALU, and eventually a complete CPU. Once you've built the hardware, you can write assembly programs that run on the processor you created. The game is inspired by courses like Nand2Tetris, but everything runs directly in the browser with a visual circuit editor, simulations, and progressively harder challenges.

The latest 3Blue1Brown video [1] about the M. C. Escher print gallery effect inspired me to re-implement the effect as WebGL fragment shader on my own. [1]: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldxFjLJ3rVY

A little game I made to show off an old project. The functionality of the CPU is derived entirely from simulated logic gates. All the operations and control flow are based on the underlying properties of the logic gates, and changing their operation leads to corresponding changes in function. The original game code is all python and it runs in the browser using wasm/pyodide. Not very mobile friendly

Hey guys, A couple weeks ago, I was in Shenzhen, China for a hackathon and on the first day, we all used the one-day PCB fabrication to make PCB badges to wear during the event. I decided to go a little crazy and make some cool 3D alchemical-cosmological badges. It's 3 PCB's stacked on-top of each other that's connected using testpoints on each board. The innerboard has a 10 cent CH32V003 MCU that powers the WS2812B neopixels on the outer rings using the testpoints and shines through using exposed soldermask. If you have any questions about how the design works, feel free to let me know!

It works by using open AIs new gpt-image API, image processing algorithms and some prompt engineering. Still has some limitations, but can already generate ready to use assets.

Hey everyone! We just launched Ponzu, an AI-powered prototyping tool that generates tile-able textures for your 3d models. You can give it any prompt, choose an art style, and get an interactive playground to preview and export your generated textures. What you get with Ponzu: 1. AI-generated texture assets 2. Normal, AO, specular, and displacement maps for each texture 3. Adjustable 3D previews in the browser 4. Customizable styles and shareable links We're excited to use AI to supercharge artist and dev workflows, and we're looking forward to feedback on Ponzu! Ponzu is free to use, but we…

Hi there, SuperCraft is generative AI tool for industrial designers. It offers a collaborative node based canvas where users can sketch, and convert the sketches to high quality 2D and 3D renders of their products. It looks like if Figma and ComfyUI had a baby. With SuperCraft, designers can generate sketch ideas from textual descriptions of the product, or directly draw on the canvas, or upload images of their sketches. They can further enrich the sketches and turn them into highly realistic renders of the products using textual descriptions. The renders generated are both 2D and 3D, and…

This has been a small labour of love for a few days. Just a fun idea I had to create a single qubit quantum circuit simulator with interactive 3D bloch sphere. Check out my blog post linked on the page for further introduction to quantum computing!

I built Color with my wife Jessica, who is trying to break into the AI scene as a product designer. This is her first AI product, and she designed it from the ground up to be fun for non-technical folks who don't have any experience or interest in AI. There's WordMode, which is your traditional text-to-image image generation prompting experience. Then there's KidMode, where you create new coloring pages by selecting a series of image icons like "Bear", "Baseball Hat," and "Glasses". It's super fun to try with littles (2-5 years old), they love it. There's something magical about selecting a…
