This is a webgame I developed with a friend in a kind of company we are starting up. In the game, you will find yourself in a room full of robots. One of them is your human opponent, but you don’t know who he is. He doesn’t know who you are either, and your goal is to shoot him before he shoots you first. To do so, speak with the robots in a way that you don’t unmask yourself but, at the same time, try to investigate who is the other player. I'd like to know what do you think about it. Thank you.

We’ve spent years working at large game studios, and one thing we saw repeatedly is how hard it is for a small team—or an individual—to not just build a game, but to run one like a sustainable business. We wanted to make those capabilities accessible to anyone and for anybody to bring their ideas to life. Marvin works through a set of specialized agents you can talk to directly. You can describe the game you want to build, and the agents collaborate with you on design, mechanics, art, physics, progression systems, and level creation. From there, you can publish the game to different…

A little game I made to show off an old project. The functionality of the CPU is derived entirely from simulated logic gates. All the operations and control flow are based on the underlying properties of the logic gates, and changing their operation leads to corresponding changes in function. The original game code is all python and it runs in the browser using wasm/pyodide. Not very mobile friendly

Hi HN, We're a small team building AI tutors out of India, and as you might guess, this means we spend a ton of time writing, testing, and refining prompts for LLMs. When we started out, we were using the OpenAI playground but things became tedious when we wanted to compare responses from different models. We tried a bunch of other playgrounds but found them lacking in some features so we built our own. Quick Links: Github: https://github.com/supernova-app/ai-playground Hosted demo: http://playground.getsupernova.ai Demo video:…

Two months ago, my friends in AI and I asked: What if an AI could actually use a phone like a human? So we built an agentic framework that taps, swipes, types… and somehow it’s outperforming giant labs like Google DeepMind and Microsoft Research on the AndroidWorld benchmark. We were thrilled about our results until a massive lab (Zhipu AI) released its results last week to take the top spot. They’re slightly ahead, but they have an army of 50+ phds and I don't see how a team like us can compete with them, that does not seem realistic... except that they're closed source. And we decided to…

Hi I've created a text-based RPG game in which you can experience different adventures and play interesting characters while the AI acts as a real time DM/story teller. There are multiple ways to interact with AI: 1) Input free will move 2) Input default move (affects resources) 3) Post a question to DM Also one more cool feature is that you can create your own adventure via simple form. Add scenes, add characters and make it public so other players are able to test it. I also plan to have 'competetive' side where players will pay some small fee to creators in crypto depending on…

Hi HN, I'm the creator of this project. For the past months, I've been working on building an AI agent that could move beyond simple generation and tackle inventive challenges autonomously. The core idea was to create a system with a "metacognitive loop"—the ability to recognize when it's stuck on a fundamental problem and then launch a sub-mission to solve that specific bottleneck before continuing. The linked article is a deeper introduction to the system's architecture and a snapshot from a recent run. I tried to design it to be evidence-grounded and self-critical to avoid the pitfalls of…

Hi HN! I'd love your feedback for this AI storytelling game. Remember when you used to read choose-your-own adventure books as a kid? We're trying to re-create that. The site lets you create adventures by seeding them with parameters that end up feeding LLMs: title, genre, writing style, etc. Once you've done that, you can play your book like a game: with custom chapters, illustrations, voice narration, choices, and dice rolls. We’re really into the idea of merging the open-ended generative AI with goal-directed story arcs that the game author can control. Everything is open source (links…

Hi HN, I’m sharing a project I’ve been working on: Panopticon AI, an open-source platform designed for researchers in military modeling and simulations. It’s web-based, integrates with OpenAI Gym, and is intended to support advancements in military AI through realistic simulations, wargaming, and reinforcement learning. The project is still under active development, and I’m looking for contributors to help shape its direction. It’s released under the Apache 2.0 license, so anyone can use, modify, or contribute to it. What Panopticon AI Offers: - A simulation environment that is browser-based…
