After repeated attempts to find an easy/quick way to view KTX files across different platforms, I gave up and built my own. Currently only KTX1 supported for 2D textures and cubemaps. I'll probably add support for KTX2 and mipmaps soon. Everything is done locally so no data leaves your browser.

I use a ton of 3D Files as I love 3D printing in my spare time and I usually exchange them over Gmail and store them in Google Drive etc.. Google does not have a 3D Preview of files so I've built a small Google Workspace Addon that opens the file into a clean "Google like" web app that supports most files. Other solutions existed but they were full of ads and looking absolutely terrible. It got a bit of traction (around 400 users) on the store so thought I would share it here! Hi HN! 2d spritesheets for game development are often distributed as a PNG image, sometimes with a separate JSON or XML metadata document describing the layout, including any animation sequences within the sheet. Hey all! I always wanted to arrange my text/markdown/pdf files on a 2D canvas and visualize them without opening all the windows. An extra feature I added is also visualizing folders within - so kind of a 3D visualization? My partner reviews a lot of P&IDs (piping and instrumentation diagrams) and the adjacent files involved (excel, docx, pdfs, acd/l5x, etc). In his company, these are usually done in Bluebeam.
