Products that do what Help me price my startup webapp does
Thank you for taking some time to help me out! http://projectionable.herokuapp.com I just launched Projectionable at http://projectionable.herokuapp.com. My goal is to decrease the time it takes to get client approval for project estimates by making the estimates interactive for clients. I haven't set up Stripe yet (I'm setting up an LLC then I'll be on my way), and I'm trying to iron out the pricing strategy by the time I have that set up. Basically, I see three options: 1. Charge users to invite clients to a project. These are single transactions on a per project basis. 2. Offer monthly…

Hey, I'm Ben. I built Zoneless because I was paying so much to use Stripe Connect on my own marketplace. The fees were really, really bad, and it was also limiting in terms of the seller countries I could onboard. To give you an idea, I was paying around $9,000 per month in fees just to run payouts. Using Zoneless, that cost goes down to around $6. I've been using it personally for the past few months, and onboarded 5,000+ sellers and done 3,000+ payouts. 74% of new sellers on my marketplace choose Zoneless over Stripe, which is really interesting. I appreciate crypto and stablecoins are a…

Hi there, So a buddy a couple of days ago came up with the idea for a new SaaS product regarding gpt and image generation. We did a quick MVP that barely works, it breaks almost 50% of the time but we still wanted to validate the idea before going all in. We have almost 1k followers on Twitter together. Did a quick post describing the idea with a stripe link in the comments with a 5$ value, no landing page, and no shipped product. In exchange, the buyers become beta users. Around 30 mins later we got our first sale next 30 mins another 5$ and so on. Do we consider the idea validated? The…

Hi HN, I am a CTO/Founder usually stuck in "development hell" on long-term projects. To fix my perfectionism, I started a challenge on Jan 1st: Ship 12 startups in 12 months. This is Project #01: TierWise. The Problem: Most SaaS founders price for the US/EU market. Charging a flat $49/mo excludes huge segments of users in LATAM, India, or Southeast Asia where purchasing power is lower. Building a custom GeoIP/PPP logic for every side project is a distraction. The Solution: I built a drop-in JS widget that detects the visitor's country and calculates a discount based on…

Hey HN folks, In my experience with SaaS, I've often seen pricing strategies get less attention than they deserve. Usually, they're based on basic market surveys, intuition, or just echoing what competitors are doing. However, effective pricing is crucial for business growth. Through my professional journey, I've realized the importance of a data-driven approach to pricing, though it's challenging, it can be incredibly beneficial. That's where Potio comes in. Potio is designed to help online businesses set up their first Stripe monetization experiment in just 15 minutes. We're not fully…

I'm gauging interest for a service that would help connect devs/designers/copywriters with folks who have short term projects (a few days or weeks of work). The projects would range in value, but should ideally be at least a few $100. Through Forrst, there are already thousands of such people available to work, it's just a matter of if this is interesting to the other side. If it is, would you leave your info? Thanks a ton. Hi HN! We've built a platform that takes care of the annoying parts of actually selling your products. We think it would also be a great fit for early stage companies as an alternative to everyone building out their own pricing page and stripe integration and has enough flexibility to grow with you when you try out new pricing strategies. I'm especially proud of how quick the quoting and checkout is to setup as a seller and use as a customer. https://www.salesbricks.com/features/quoting-checkout We'd love some feedback and to know more about your needs and pains when you…

Hello everyone. I'm a relatively new developer and I started my first project to go full production recently. It is a directory of payment processors and payment service providers. It's free to use and gives detailed info on their pricing, business model, supported business types, available countries, prohibited businesses and high risk business support. So far only 40 have been added with more to come. And I allow processors to contact me so that they're details can be added to the database. I'll eventually automate this and add verification the months to come. I hope you'll find it useful.…
