24 alternatives to Rclone UI

I became a full on data hoarder recently, but even before I was juggling multiple buckets for backups, stock assets, etc. I settled some long time ago, but always forgot some flag, and while I do love a CLI for some endeavors, for this one I felt like a UI would make me move faster (if done right). Some of my favorite features: - Remote Defaults (set default flags for a remote, they are applied as initial flags to every operation where that remote is selected, like a pre-fill) - Templates (a group of flags for an operation, eg. Move, that you can apply. they’re useful when you run the same…

Hi HN, I’d like to share RcloneView( https://rcloneview.com ), a cross-platform GUI for Rclone designed to simplify cloud storage management for developers and power users. Rclone is incredibly powerful but entirely CLI-based. RcloneView wraps that power in an intuitive graphical interface that makes it easy to: • Transfer, sync, copy, or move files across cloud providers. • Compare folders visually before syncing. • Manage jobs with scheduling, history, and dry-run. • Mount cloud storage as a local drive RcloneView supports 40+ backends, including Google Drive, Dropbox, S3,…

    Flipt v2▲178

Hey all, I'm the founder of Flipt, an open-source (https://github.com/flipt-io/flipt) feature flag tool that I (and others) have been working on for the past few years. About a year or two ago we added support for serving flag state from various non-relational declarative stores like Git, OCI, Object Store, etc. Many of our users came to love the git-backed storage, as it allows them to keep their feature flags close to their code in there organization's repos. But they had one (rather large) ask, and that was the ability to use the UI to manage flag state changes and…

Hey! So I worked on a new website for my TUI called `dash` on https://gh-dash.dev The docs content was contributed by a community member @michaeltlombardi https://github.com/michaeltlombardi which I'm super grateful for. Also, for any community member I created a discord server (https://discord.com/invite/SXNXp9NctV) where we can share configs and nerd out about terminal. The site itself is built with Starlight by Astro. I've set up a VPS with Dokploy (https://dokploy.com/) which made things so easy! Each PR publishes a new version…

This tray-based program can be used to manage SSHFS mounts for remote servers. It was built out of a need to browse my self-hosted servers (and connected HDDs); managing the state for multiple SSHFS connections as well as avoiding system-hanging bugs on MacOS was becoming tedious. This is early software still, please use at your own risk and share any feedback. Github: https://github.com/thekashifmalik/sshfsui

Hi. We just open sourced Bullet Train, a Feature Flag and Remote Config platform. It's a collection of tools: server API, admin front end and clients for a bunch of different platforms. Together they allow you to control feature flags and remote config across projects, environments and users. We realised that we were building ad-hoc feature flag stuff into individual projects over and over, so we had a look around to see if there was a way of doing this in a more formal manner. There are a few commercial solutions around but they were quite expensive and seemed to be aimed more at the…

I've made an open-source microframework for creating command-line (CLI) applications in the Zig programming language. It's called Chilli, and it currently provides the following features: - A declarative API for defining nested commands, flags, and positional arguments. - Type-safe parsing of arguments from the command line and environment variables. - Automatic generation of formatted `--help` and `--version` output. - Support for command aliases, persistent flags, and other common CLI patterns. You can find the project on GitHub: https://github.com/habedi/chilli

Hello everyone! To briefly introduce myself, I'm mainly a backend developer, working in the industry for the past 7 years. On one of the products I was working on we were heavily using a custom feature flagging system. Basically, any functionality we were building was starting with a new feature flag. It was useful because: 1. We were able to silently deploy a feature to production for real environment testing 2. We would enable feature flag for specific users across our team, like marketing, sales, so everyone can check it out, test and prepare for the release 3. We were restricting certain…

Hi HN! I built rapid-rs to solve a problem I kept hitting: setting up a new Rust web API requires wiring together lots of crates and boilerplate. : FastAPI's developer experience + Spring Boot's conventions, with Rust's performance and type safety. : - One command to scaffold: `rapid new myapi` - Auto-configuration: DB, logging, CORS work out of the box - Type-driven validation: Compile-time + runtime guarantees - Auto-generated OpenAPI/Swagger UI - Built on Axum, so you can use Axum patterns when needed It's early stage but functional. Would love feedback from the HN community! GitHub:…

Doors: Server-driven UI framework + runtime for building stateful, reactive web applications in Go. Some highlights: * Front-end framework capabilities in server-side Go. Reactive state primitives, dynamic routing, composable components. * No public API layer. No endpoint design needed, private temporal transport is handled under the hood. * Unified control flow. No context switch between back-end/front-end. * Integrated web stack. Bundle assets, build scripts, serve private files, automate CSP, and ship in one binary. How it works: Go server is UI runtime: web application runs on a…

I built this because I didn't want to type longer project-specific commands. I work with a bunch of different tech stacks, so it's either a lot to remember or a lot of digging through various README files. Neither is great, so I wrote this little helper. ez stores aliases in a .ez_cli.json file per directory. The nice thing about this is that if you like you can have the same alias, e.g. ez test, ez build etc. in all your projects and for each one it does different things. Also, it's a natural place since you can then also commit it to the repo and thus share your best aliases with the team.…
