Journaling is a great practice to learn more about yourself - if done daily. I tried it multiple times and couldn't stick to it. This project is how I finally fixed it for myself. It works by eliminating my excuses. There is only one question a day that I'll answer - no time spent on "finding the perfect topic". I only need to go to the page - not find my notebook or create a new note/paragraph in another app. I only left myself a relatively small input area, less than a page in a small notebook - that way the commitment doesn't feel too big. Hello there! I hope you're doing well today! I wanted to share something with you. Recently I was on the hunt for the best way to journal daily. Well, I had this idea - what if I could feed all my daily entries to an AI (ChatGPT), and create a friendly, supportive character like Socrates or Simon Sinek? I realised how much potential there is for LLMs to provide an objective perspective on stressful thoughts - so I built an app that helps you form a habit around this to reduce long term anxiety. You vent what's on your mind and an LLM will evaluate your thoughts objectively (heavily leaning on CBT techniques), to help you maintain a more balanced perspective. Technical stack: - Flutter (to release cross-platform) - OpenAI API…
