TLDR: I made a public only web analytics without signup. Stores views and visitors for 10 days before deleting data. Exactly 25 days ago today I posted here, proud of my new web analytics. The response was mixed and my post even got flagged (understandable). It was my first real launch and I actually made a sale just a day later of 49$(!). Back then my project was pay once, keep forever. Since then I have sadly went over to the dark side (subscription based). Anyways, I never went back to look at the post after the first two hours, turns out I got a lot of answers. Most answers was something…

Hi there, The app basically offers a handy user interface on top of Google's PageSpeed Insights API. It allows you to analyze URLs in bulk and save the reports for later references. Also, you can regenerate the saved reports for fresh results. I called this functionality "Automatic Checklists." The app offers "Manual Checklists", too. Those are exhaustive checklists with items in the form of "tasks". The idea is for those tasks to model real-life JIRA tickets, which will be very useful for interns and junior developers. As a start, there are two manual checklists, "Front-End Checklist" and…

Jello SEO▲11I was watching Deep Research do hours of research in minutes and thought why the hell am I still manually clicking through Ahrefs trying to guess what keywords to check? So I built an AI that does keyword research the same way. The problem with traditional keyword tools is they assume you already know what to look for. But I'd sit there thinking "okay I'm building a developer tool... do I search for 'API monitoring'? 'webhook debugging'? 'API testing'?" Then I'd spend an hour going down rabbit holes and miss the fact that "Postman alternative open source" or something like that gets 2k…

I've seen plenty of threads on HN about various alternatives to GA, but you can't try them all. So I tried 15 of the most popular, including: Matomo Cloud, Piwik Pro, Clicky, Cloudflare Web Analytics, Statcounter, Chartbeat, Fathom, Plausible Analytics, Visitor Analytics, Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel, Snowplow, Amplitude Analytics, Heap, and PostHog. Basically anything with >= .1% market penetration in the top 1M sites that had as self-service plan. There's no one-size-fits-all replacement for everyone, but there are a lot of good options if you're trying to get off of Google. Happy to…
